Well that was Wednesday and today is Saturday. I have been the lucky owner of 17 At. Picked it up yesterday and rode it home in the rain. It's been snowing most of the day so needed to personalize it a bit. Now just need the weather to clear up a bit to go for a ride.

Tricolor DCT sitting in NW Honda, Rice Lake WI. without an owner... if any of you were watching this thread last year you'll know that they were a pretty pro-active dealer!

4/24 Tri color DCT! upgraded to 4/19.

Getting harder to wait it out.
I have parts from more than 3 continents converging for the build.

    I am pretty excited.

Are you trading in your red AT or getting the tri color as well?

Trading in the Rally Red unless someone talks me out of it...
A couple have tried but I am looking forward to the ride to trade it in.

Usually trade in prices are worse than private sales, sounds like you have the rare dealer that's offering you a decent price.

And at long last, picked it up last night! Woot!

Thankfully my dealer didn't sell it to any of the people who called and offered him more money for my bike!

    Why not?

The DCT is very appealing to me. Faster shifting, no low speed stalling... no clutch to mash in big city traffic.
    I can't wait.

04/19 delivery for my tri-color standard. No matter how hard I tried to convince Honda NA and the dealer, owning a tri-color TransAlp did not speed up the delivery process...

Bought a leftover 2016 last month that had engine case damage and repair undisclosed to me prior to sale by dealer (see "problems" thread and be sure to bring the popcorn). Hoping to pick up a 2017 as replacement, good to see they are being delivered right around now by coincidence. Happened to see a Tricolor with "sold" sign on it at the dealer when I was there to discuss their epic f'up. Almost wanted to wait for the buyer to show so I could disclose my situation to him and watch him ask his salesmen about it.

Picked up my 2017 tri-color last thursday. Wasnt on the dealer floor for 12 hours.
Gorgeous paint, accented nicely by those gold wheels and bars. Rode it 72 miles to the house from Vegas. Kept it under 80, but didnt bother keeping it under 60 either. Love it already.

First ride on the 17 Red Manual AT today. Almost 200 miles, with some easy logging roads mixed in. So far so good! I really .... really like, dare i say love this bike! First fuel fill at 140 miles took 3.2 gallons. 43.75 MPG. Not too bad since I was going through the break in routine. Started my first farkel tonight. Eastern Beaver fuse block. Planning longer ride tomorrow, the weather was great today, forecast for tomorrow is even better!
