    good fer ya.

ok, there should be 3 more winners to claim their prize.

on the voucher, there's an instruction to contact me prior to claiming yours, and on the back, it says joel can have them if you failed to claim them on time....hehehe.

copy of what i posted on the 2016 DVNR RR

since it has been a month and no one sued me, i was able to finally give the $$$ to the organizations we're supporting. 100% of the raffle money was donated.

Stewards of the Sequoia - $2,000

    Blue Ribbon Coalition - $1,500

Angeles National Forest/San Bernardino National Forest Moto Volunteers - $1200

    California Off-Road Vehicle Association - $500

Chris Horgan of SOS accepting our donation....and for those who missed to help or want to do more...please come to the June 25th Trail Appreciation Day

imagine, we raised that amount in a matter of 3 hours. think next year, we will start selling a few days earlier not hours before the raffle.

BIG THANKS to all participants and supporters .....:thumb

I finally had a chance to put to use some of what I learned during the Jimmy Lewis clinic in March. As some of you may know, I had to leave early because my friend lost my cat, plus I was still kind of sick from bronchitis and feeling like crap. I did not get to do any fun rides at all.

Thursday on my way home from the dentist, and erratic driver change lanes as traffic was slowing down while I was lane splitting. Then, without much more than a single car length, the jerk off changed lanes again and slammed on his brakes right in front of me. I was already decelerating but got to put into use the emergency braking practice in Jimmy's class. I still hit the rear bumper on the passenger side, but did not end up on the hood of the car and I don't think the motorcycle is a total loss but will find out Tuesday. Nothing broken on me. Lots of witnesses had already called in the license plate of the vehicle fleeing the scene.

Left a nice black stripe on the back of his red bumper. Will need new mirrors and rear signals.

Wish I had changed back to my Avon grifters, still had the knobbies on. Importantly, I did not die. Or end up spending the night in the hospital.

It turns out that the driver has insurance but no license, that's why he fled.

Fun. Hate it when assholes flee. I just got rear-ended today in my wife's Lexus. I had stopped for a small duck family and he didn't :( Luckily he stopped, insurance, etc. plus my five-year old daughter in the back so far seems unharmed so that's good. Too bad I wrecked Holly's car on Mothers' day!

Watch out for those ghost injuries, Jenn!

Jeez Jenn. If it weren't for bad luck, you'd have no luck at all...
