It may just be me, and it may just be a problem with translation, but I find that a bit disturbing. :choppa

Today was the day that started my stress.
    1st Olivier stopped tracking.
Then all the team's riders showed "in" for the night, expect Chris Cork #116. My hearts was a thumpin! Waiting..waiting...
Thank goodness for Facebook and him having internet - he just posted "Stage 4 Completed - made up quite a few places".
Sometimes Facebook is better than the Dakar's fancy tracking!! Sheesh......
Now......the marathon starts! No mechanical assistance for any riders tonight!! Get some rest and bring it back in tomorrow guys!!

Oi, I edited the translation before posting.......:dirtdog gogle fubared it royally. The meaning I got was that he wasn't quite sure where he was ranking in the race, not refering to his meds.

probably a piston ever other day to play it safe would be my guess. the one he was pulling out looked like it got pretty hot on the intake side

I havent heard any mention of a line start (Lemans) this year. Shame as they add a nice element to the race

We have completed a very long stage, even if only by roads and very little navigation. The bikes already entered into the regime of marathon where they will not receive mechanical assistance until tomorrow. Very happy and peaceful, with everything ready to leave tomorrow heading to uyuni

Once removed and replaced by engine B, the refitting of engine A into the Machine will be considered as a change of engine, in the same way as replacement by engine C.

    Engine change:
    - 1st engine 15 min penalty
    - 2nd engine 45 min penalty

    - 3rd engine and any following engines 2:00 hour penalty

Gotcha...I was wrong about the cylinder portion then. Heck, I'd replace the piston/rings daily on that 125 just for insurance if there is no penalty. It's what, an hour job max?

    By Eila:
Seems Annie has problems today... Has just passed wp9, quite a bit from finish. Let's hope for the best!
Takes some time until she's able to send sms to me. Will update her blog as soon as I get info.

One window open, just shut down and do it again.

with the first link http://www.trackingdakar.nl/ then I got this problem.

now use the second link http://trackingdakar.nl/live.php opened with also advclass, shut down X advclass, shut down all, open it again, no advclass, this solved

do the first link again no adv class, have something to do with first link
set class again in first link, advclass, same problem after closing, it seems the remove button does not change the selection permantly the X at advclass X does the job properly. second link.

with third link X it does not work either. strange is the X different to close and how it is saved.

I think this Ricky Brabec fellow is a force! It is still early but I think he can win a stage or two. He was very fast today. He has been fast all along, but he is going to get much faster! Sure it is all knew to him. He knows how to go fast once he figures the other stuff. Anyway, he gave us a glimpse today. He had the pace to win. :clap and of course I am a "homer"... But he's only a few minutes behind... I think he can do the deed. :D
