Yup - held it just >||< much too long.
Could well have been. One thing for sure, whoever said it had his s**t in one sock!
So have the riders got much better this year or are we calling this the easiest first 5 stages (4 )for the last 3 years?
When is this going to get properly hard? It all seems flat and short and fast.
It feels like a baja race so far. I am loving the competition and that it is anyone's race I just hope it gets Dakar very soon.
...and now at the ASS in second place! Just stompin' it.
yep. C'est fin.
Noticed that too.
Perhaps it's a combo of more WRC-type stages and teams being better prepared.
Isn't it supposed to be like the ASO's Tour de France? You know, with flat sprints to start and then the more challenging mountains.
So...where are the mountains?, you ask
Chavo is cracking up at his little stunt. His actual response "Fuck, I don't crash in the stage and then slide 10ft from the podium." Good thing is that it seems the only thing bruised is his pride.
Peugeot isn't infallible, it seems. Mr. Despres lost 41 minutes on the last stage.
Naah, that's fine - almost like new - run it!
(says the guy who took 7 spare tires to Ensenada for the 500, plus the new ones that were mounted!)
More often than not, when people get out of shape in a car or on a bike, they react by slamming the throttle closed or worse, jamming the brakes. That usually results in getting further out of shape. Of course it depends on the exact scenario but it's often better to try to ride it or slide it out. Sudden tire adhesion after a lack of adhesion is a bitch.
And where's Robbie's tractor when you really need it?!!!
And I also think the WOT prevents the swing / damper from kicking the bikes ass up after landing
Witness all the high-sides in GP racing!
looks like something happened to Sheldon Creed; slow to get to WP7
CORKY WP 8!!!!!!!!
Big hole in Sheldon's windshield from something
That will do it (delay, that is)
And Jamie #134 not far behind (where's that fingers-crossed smilie?)
Edit, a few minutes later: And sure enough, there he is!
