Very few people swap engines any more. it's only required if you have a problem.

On 4,wheels I predict SL will cut it from the front today - same route as the bikes and of course with a navigator there is no real disadvantage starting first, anyhow let's wait and see.

Looking at the live feed it looks foggy - obviously the choppers can fly!

The fever with the knee injury is serious. Will likely need IV meds.

    So sad.

Not those dunes. Flammable is so hot, the dunes will be outrageously soft. They are bright white too so super hard to see. Honestly, that day is going to suck for a lot of people. I'd imagine the two days either side will too.

373 - The struggles are not yet over for Seel
Following major mechanical problems on yesterday's special, Sweden's Annie Seel, the only lady still left in the category, has not yet reached the bivouac in Uyuni. She is currently being towed by her assistance truck. The convoy are 100 km from the finish but are only travelling at 25 kmph…

The impulsion is the number of times the excess speed is recorded (someone said effectively every 150m on the GPS), so if he drove 40kph over the limit for 600m, he'd get the hour penalty, which, by the sound of the audio interview from last night, is exactly what he did?

    :nod :deal

... roll into the bivvy, find your crew, tryfix it... eat a sandwich and coffee (if time)... get your roadbook from the commisaire for the next stage... roll out of the bivvy (if able in time) to DSS, join the back of the que... repeat...

Hopefully the mechanics already have a feel for what the issue may be.

as mischas data is drawn from the ASO data... and the ASO matrix is down at the present time (no WP data)
only the POSIS (manually entered) CP points are live... so no... for the moment it is only "old school".

mishas site does have a Checkpoint track function... that is where I lifted CP 1 times from

same here... the old site can be streched out on a mobile so I can read it in the wee hours :D (the auto fit is sometimes still not big enough for me)
