The quad category has ahigh attrition rate this year , 6 + a couple today, out of 44 starters?
Hallelujah.....Annie made it to WP 1!!!!!!!!
I had a word with Manuel about more gray hair.....guess it's her turn....again.....................................
Gonk is going well . Respected too him as a rider. BB is the fastest guy in this race ! If only he could keep it together . A real controversial plot would be if Helder won. Plenty to trash talk about then ... Toby looks strong as well. Heartbreaking for Faria . Sam S would have also been a contender . He must be disappointed watching ... Ricky B looks a promising prospect for the future.
For a few years Sidehacks had a 100% attrition rate!
RG seems to be in trouble. Still att WP10. Sheldon there too, probably helping him.
You´re right, fair enough! Okay then I will say he rode a Honda with a broken tailbone no squashed tailpipe for 50km this one time...
>thats got to be tough right?
On the route again. Drama till the end of stage 5. Started the stage a little delayed, but within allowed time margin.
"Friday, January 8 Uyuni - UyuniSpecial Stage 542 km# 373 & Hekses Seel, planned start at local time 12:09:00We have started the day's specials! We came away 13:39:30, that is a little behind schedule. This is the altitude all the time over 4000 meters above sea level and it feels. Luckily I'm not feeling bad anymore. We came into the bivouac at 10 o'clock (15 pm Swedish time). It was a looong looong and rough night with many stops at yesterday's marathon stretch. The roads were incredibly difficult in the mountains up to 4600 m. I towed the whole way most of our racing truck # 553, which was very dangerous at night, pitch dark. My engine worked of course not, so I had no power on either the steering or brakes. It was scary to be behind the truck in dust and mud, and try to avoid crashing into the truck or falling over the edge into a ravine. Could not run the lights nor the battery would soon end. Visibility = zero.To top it all went the tow bar of the towing bracket (one of those wheel holders as tow trucks have) so we have to stop and weld a few times. The last bit we used the rope on the old-fashioned way."
We are in the fight
Paulo Gonçalves got today more a place of the podium in the sixth stage of #dakar2016 after you have been the third fastest in more long step timed of proof, fought around de uyuni in Bolivia, a total of 542 Miles. A difficult day for the Portuguese who broke the 12. th position, led practically the whole stage, but eventually came back to suffer with the altitude by opting for a defensive tune up to the end. Paulo Gonçalves keeps the honda in the lead of the Dakar 2016.

FSLA: Benavides - (paraphrase) roadbook stopped working.
tomorrow is his birthday.
Can't be, paper roadbooks never fail.
Bummer that lost him a lot of time.
Should have had an Ipad.
Sleep time here in Dubai
Those are only for fun rides, LOL.
He didn't have a lot of options for sponsorship:
