Congratulations to the new DAKAR ALIEN and to all competitors who finished.
I´m just looking at the results and trying to search the information from old dakar sites on dakar.com, who was and who was not part of a team...
Been lurking here, just like to say Thankyou all for the updates and commentary.
oh, and Well Done TP !
I don't know, but I wonder which top 10 rider is eager to sign with them if they keep Bam Bam (and in less extent Gonc) and continue their politic of "1st Barreda"
Hire a racer who does not forget his genitals when he gets on the plane
I see hrc now as a development stage for KTM riders
Oh, so what about HSA? I'm not that excited with the idea of Benavides beeing first or second WC for Bam Bam
They will compleatly redesign the bike again I guess.
Even the re painted 125 KTM got a great finish!
Thanks to all of the F5Hose for their great contributions and debate over Dakar 2016.
As an Aussie, I am of course delighted that Toby made it to the finish as #1.
I feel that Laia didn't get the best of luck, she probs feels a little disappointed at her final placing, and I wouldn't blame her for that.
For the US, Ian Blythe has finished in 26th place - is that something he would be happy about? I don't know enough to say, but he had a really tough stage where he could have gone out.
Manny has had a real good result, he should be happy about his choices with regard to the bike - most stress free Manny @Dakar ever!
And, the baby of the field made it home, congrats to #111 - Sylvain, well done.
Thanks again, back to lurking for me until Dakar 2017, cheers :)
Thanks to all contributing here, quality info and real excitement, now back to boring life itself!
Congrats to all the warriors out there, but I have to say, Orange team, you really have what it takes to create legends, you surely all are very talented.
TP well done on all aspects of racing, looking forward to see you carrying the Orange flag in future.
.@dakar is finished! Team HRC results:

David Casteu about Stage 12
David Casteu: "a step as I love them"
" a step complicated, like I love them, long, physics, difficult, recounted yesterday David to his late arrival at Bivouac Villa Carlos Paz. Tonight, I've got 910 miles on it! Arrived in a corner, I saw alain duclos falling into a ravine. As I was in her dust, I fell too. I've managed to get out of there fast, but I didn't want to leave duclos. I helped him to get out his bike of the ravine, but when we arrived on the track, the helmet of duclos had disappeared. A 15-Year-old kid stole it and running off. Impossible to catch up with him. Duclos could not leave without a helmet for security reasons. I've never seen it! I've lost time, but this is part of the adventures of dakar. And tomorrow, there is still a big day... "
