Hmm... I didn't even notice they were showing bikes anywhere, but indeed... my feed was completely messed up and I had to fix this.... Had never seen this before and because the server was about to explode I could hardly find a way to research and fix it... but guess I managed?
Is there a list over Malles Moto this year?
Making a debut on the Dakar is never easy, but Kevin Benavides has passed the test with flying colours. The Argentinean has taken advantage of his good knowledge of the terrain to pick up a superb eighth place at the finish of the special, several seconds behind Joan Barreda.
With less expectations riding on him than the official KTMs and Hondas ridden by Matthias Walkner and Joan Barreda, Alain Duclos has not taken long to find the right pace, resulting in a fine fourth placed finish to day. The three men are still in the reckoning in the general standings.
Haha how did you guess?
If he can just stick with the leaders and follow someone fast each day, he could do really well!
When car and all else is correct for Loeb, he's on rails.
He used to drive WRC gravel and ice like it was short circuit.
Can anyone comment on how much (or how little) experience Loeb's co-driver has with road book rallies vs WRC type events?
"Is there a list over Malles Moto this year?"
This is the most complete list I've seen thanks to NRY:
I just went through the competitors list, there were a few who's profiles weren't up and I didn't check anyone with a start number under 31. All up there are 136 bikes (last allocated number is 153 but there are a fair few numbers not taken up on the list) I've added a couple more to the Malles moto list we have so far.
#40 Jurgen Van Der Goorbergh - NLD - KTM
#80 Manuel Lucchese - ITA - YAM
#88 Jasper Riezebos - NLD - KTM
#96 Toia Dioclezano - ITA - KTM
#111 Sylvain Espinasse - FRA - Husqvarna 125 !!! ( << this guy, really ? )
#118 Maciej Berdysz - POL - KTM
#131 Frencesco Catanese - ITA - YAM
#147 Jose Julian Kozac - ARG - YAM
#149 Simon Marcic - SLO - KTM
What is the status on Alexander Smith. Haven't seen any mention of him today.
I was reading an interview and I do not think he has much but the rally Morocco? they did last fall. Now he has the best guys to learn from in his team...
