I'm not expecting Toby to win the stage today. I did yesterday and I certainly will tomorrow, but today would be a good day just to cruise.

Brabec, todays terrain should better suit his experience. I see he has a fast pace going...I bet we see him move forward in the rankings today :nod

Should be seeing JBB through WP3 anytime now if he's keeping a pace similar to Gonk

    Detail.

Look at JBB's front fender here:

It seems that they run an extension 'fin' for the water and mud.

These guys are only in it for the sponsorship money if you ask me... They have lost all sense of what the rallye is all about, especially Tom, the 'roaming' reporter/rider. What a bunch of crap.

They should be on medication, up and down, up and down.

Total disrespect for the other competitors and event, starting without time cards, staring after being DQ-ed.

Rubbish, imho they should be banned. The novelty wore off 2 years ago...

Can't see why Honda wouldn't just leave that fender extension on for the whole event. Can't see it being big enough to upset handling, block the radiator or create excessive lift and vibration. Certainly trimming all fat off the bike if that's the trouble they go to in setup for each stage. Must be a wind tunnel thing.

I answered this back on page 69 here.

M next to your race number denotes Marathon - where only a single engine is allowed and other key components (swing arm, forks etc.) have to be standard production parts and remain for the duration.

Again, gratuitous photo of a Marathon Class bike:

As far as I am aware, there has never been a separate designation for Malle Moto - you simply register with the organisation as such.

JBB. Svitko and JBB were nose to tail at WP2 (JBB 7:49:24, 7:49:58 Svitko). BY WP3 JBB was 2 min 5 sec up the road.
