May be another bike?
I just checked my wife's new Civic YEP it look the same!!!!
Here's a photo tour of stage 7 part 1, in bolivia, as seen along the race course. There aren't any photos in the rougher sections of the course near the beginning, as it seems nobody travels there! Lots of long lost faint roads, HP, river crossings, and a little bit of dunes in the early parts of the stage.
The start (DSS1) is in the wash far in the distance:
Well into the stage, after all the rough stuff, crossing this bridge left to right:
Village near the bridge:
Passing this mining village (Santa Ana) on the road above it:
Coming into the next mining village, Animas:
Lots of this along the way:
Heading up that twisty road after passing through mining village San Vicente:
It's treacherous in some places if you get off the road:
There's a lot of "ridge running" on this stage:
Typical road along the way:
Through the badlands:
Stage 7 finish (ASS1), in the wash coming into Tapiza:
If pictures like this DONT sell motorbikes - what hope is there!
The stage 7 pics look nice but what happens if they get another downpour? I think there might be a lot of enroute changes this year. It all depends on the weather. Those dry river beds might be full.
I'm interested to see what the Husky team strategy is and if there is any coordination with KTM. With only three riders, two experienced and a noob, do they have a hierarchy with Pablo and Ruben or will Ruben finally get to run free of WC duties? Will Pela sacrifice parts for a top KTM rider in need? Just a little more drama that makes this Dakar exciting.
Yeah baby !!!
The 450 Vstrom
What's the different Yellow and White backgrounds

To all those posting photos THANK YOU!!!!!! Your making my day and night.
Troy: Thanks so much for all the work you put into the first few posts of the F5irehose thread there is a ton of great info there and I have sent a few dakar noob friends the link as a pre-race primer. The one heads up is that the linked route map image in the 1st post shows the race starting in Lima
#26 (yellow background) brazilian rider Jean Azevedo from Honda South America team!
Let's not forget that Miss Sainz did not race with an Elite (yellow background) number last year and made a number of Elite men look slow on her way to 9th place.
This one image tells me Honda are here until they boss this event!
Only I can't see KTM allowing them even a sniff!
Something has to give!?!?!
Is that clutch cover bigger than your standard clutch cover bear?
That clutch looks ginormous
B or C bike given non acerbis rally handguards?
In fact is there a formalized Honda A and B team or is it simply a bomb run event for Honda at the start to see who gets into lead?
