Cubbies are sucking so far. What the hell? It is not helping that they have a half-blind home plate ump. They also have a starting pitcher who does not throw to first nor does he field ground balls. This series is making history regardless of who wins.

I was listening to the radio when Lester wouldn't throw to first when the runner was caught between bases. I wish I'd seen that on TV. Steve Sax is the last guy I saw with those kind of yips. Mackey Sasser too, and that was tough since he was a catcher and had to do it after every pitch.

    sucking?

Kluber pitched one hell of a game!!! WOW! That was impressive.

And Lester had a bad first inning. Lester can pitch, but, a guy at that level should be able to work base runners.

and I am a life long Cubs fan. Back in grade school, we lived in the Chicago 'burbs and my dad took us to games. I was there and saw the results of the '69 Mets.

It's gonna be a good series.

    GO CUBBIES!!!

Last night second Cubs batter first inning.

When do these idiots learn that if you have a full count and if you think the payoff pitch is a ball and if you break for first without letting the ump call ball 4 that there is a good chance he'll call strike 3 just because he can.

Blaming the Umpire is the 1st sign you are a complete Douche bag.
The Indians are loosing wah wah wah, the umpire is from Milwaukee so he must be calling it against Cleveland!
If they loose it's because they didn't score more runs than Chicago. Same reason the Cubs lost last night. The second sign you are a douche is that you are a Cubs fan.

Definitely better so far tonight! Although they need to lay off the 3-0 pitches.

    could be.

seems to me they are getting the green light. and the pitchers know their weak spots and throw there. :lol2

maybe a little more self discipline at the plate is required.

    good game by the Cubbies.

now back to the friendly confines :D

I don't particularly care who wins which is kind of a problem since I don't have anybody to root for or against. I'm glad to see two teams in there that haven't been for decades. I'd kind of like to see them both win. Maybe give them all participant trophies :nod
    Hope it goes to seven.

Dammit, the bases should have been loaded. That clown cannot lay off the low and away pitches.

The math is starting to look a bit daunting for Chicago. They have to win three of four.

Ironic that Jason Heyward finally got a hit. I think Chicago will regret that contract by the end of next season.
