Would love to do this ride and do the teeter-totter bridge 2-up.. but I'll be playing on Poisson Spider that day. Next year I guess.

In light of my terrible weekend. Bike is going back to repair mode for a carb rebuild. And now a peg and brake lever replacement (crashed while practicing how to slide corners). Still on track to make it!

I think i am burning oil. Either way I could borrow a friends bike if i am. Itll be a huge change going from the 690 to a Honda 230L though. Gonna get it all figured out tomorrow.

Shock is back, rebuild can commence. Trying to get the bike together in time. Anybody have a spare roll chart (or GPS lol) I can borrow day of? I doubt I will get too lost with the 400 riders on the route but it would be nice to have.

I'd like to see the Razr ride up the loading ramp into the back of the pick up. By the by, how's she looking for the WMRC this year?

I plan on handing out flyers for a local public land issue at sign-ups... if Zach will let me. Looks like we'll get a little bit of rain, hopefully just enough to keep the dust down! Since I'm still off my bikes, I might head out to the Pozo/Turkey Flats section and hang out to watch everybody go through, live vicariously through you and whatnot.

Super fun conditions today, little rain in the morning but made the dirt soooo good both Ranch sections were awesome with the second ranch single track just epic! Both me and partner rode teeter totter
and then went back and rode one more full loop on the hard option.... it was to good to pass up open access to that terrain.

Nice pass superhobie! That bike sure made the teeter drop quick after crossing the centerline, you handled it like a champ!

I was glad to see that there were still over 300 riders (I counted 319 at the forest checkpoint) I was a little worried the rain would scare most people away.

I am glad to say that the riders this year made a much more positive impression with the Forest Service, law enforcement, and Search & Rescue than in previous years, so thank you to all who attended.

Does anybody know the story on the 500exc that was left on Redhill Rd? It was just standing upright, with no rider to be found, when sweep came through.

Here's another video from the Cal Poly Penguins' ride:

This 14 minute video is by D.B. Cawthon. From the views of the tops of hills to single track through green pasture, you'll see what you missed if you didn't attend this ride. Several river crossings and two teeter totter attempts are included. Did the riders make it? You'll have to watch it to see!

Another video, this one by Kevin Donoghue. It's 10 minutes long and nicely edited.
