In. Very In. So very IN. Have always wanted to do this and finally have the bike for it.
It's an easy ride up from San Diego, and I'll be camping it the whole trip.

    Zubb rides again!!

Folks, you don't need the codes. The electronic registration will be up and running and that's where you'll do your thing.

@dravnx Uber noob here, even though they codes aren't necessary here, what do they represent? Parking spots for trucks and gear? Camping areas?

Panamint Springs does have WiFi...sort of. It seems to be wifi connected to the internet via 300 baud modem or carrier pigeon. Works best in the middle of the night when most of the crowed is passed out :photog, er, asleep.

Planning to be there with my son again (just in case he has to tow me 100 miles back to camp again when my stator craps out like he did in 2013).

    Hi Izzy,

Our codes (RIP) represents everything about your accommodation, ride, etc. Let's take MFGamesta's coding for example:

    MFGamesta - John - TC3 - D0 - TE 449 - #15

    means

His AdvRider handle is MFGamesta, his name is John, he want to stay in a Tent Cabin for 3 days (other options are MC3 for riding in your motorcycle, TR3 for trucking in your motorcycle, BT3 for bringing your big ass RV or trailer, MT3 for staying in the motel across the campground and RV3 bringing in your RV for full hookups), he doesn't want to have catered dinner, he is riding a TE 449 and he wants the camp spot #15.

But again there will be an electronic signup this year so you dont need to post any of this info here yet.

@FYYFF Ah, I see okay, well doing that online should simplify things.

    Thanks!

hard to give up the codes after several years of use.

we would rather see from noobs when they post up a little background of their skill and the bike they will be riding.

post up questions, things you want to know.

I put a lot of effort into copying and pasting those codes. I had this dream of every year I would be able to paste the same codes from the previous year to see how many years I could do that. Zero years... I just know my #15 will be gone when I go to register. :arg

I'll get over it. Thanks to all who have donated their time organizing and supporting the rallys.

I might be in the area on my Road King at that time. I usually stay in Furnace Creek.

I'm in, will camp (or maybe tent cabin) on my 990 Adv. I'm basically a noob even though I've done a bit of ADV'ing before.
