Anyone looked into Driver backrests? Had a Utopia fitted to my Burgman and it was GREAT don't see why the same couldn't be done

Accessories I am currently looking to have the Dealer fit at collection (they aren't charging labor so thought I would make the most)
    IxRace Slip on
    Termi' pipe
    UpMap T800
DNA Filter (they won't decork airbox)
    Ohlins STX 46
AM'E heated grips (if i can find UK distributor)

Only concern is not having it decorked as i will have to get my mechanic to do that elsewhere (how long does it take to get to the airbox?)

Got approved!! Was a bit worried. Went for all the accessories above (except for heated grips) will have them do the Lambda sensor disabling as UpMap suggest this with snorkel removal for maximum benefit. Will see if Thor can help me remove snorkel :rofl

You guys crack me up with all of the tuning you're doing on this relatively tame machine. Hoping to bump the HP up to a whopping 60hp?

    HA I know it's mad!

There something about stripping back the modern filters clogging and blocking these engines/exhausts to run as they were intended that I just love

As always, I am behind Thor on this. Thinking whether to have the dealer change the stock tyres before delivery so i can resell them best there is no way I will keep them on for their life, I heard people reccomend Pilot Road 4 on Front and 5 on rear (or vice versa?) I used to run Michelin Pilot Power 2ct on my KTM Supermotos and they were fine, i think the Xadv is heavier though

Michelin site suggest PR4 front and rear. I use 5 front and 4 rear.

Who makes this top case? Can’t track it down. It’s not a Givi Trekker. Looks great

I’m not sure... I have a Honda OEM top case on order. It’s supposed to ship from France on December 6. It’s similar to this one.

Picked it up yesterday. First ride ever on an Xadv. Holy CRAP it’s fun. Kept reaching for a clutch which is weird cause I ride a scooter daily.

1)The stock windscreen gave me clean air (I’m 6’2) I get hit on the shoulders (even up to +speed limit)
2)the stock exhaust gives me enough grumble to enjoy the WOT acceleration,
3)the stock seat is too hard but I find sitting back on it more comfortable for riding
    4) the stock mirrors look like women’s sunglasses and are angled funny
    5) the controls aren’t backlit so on the ride home in the dark I couldn’t see what button to push and kept pushing the horn
5.5) High Beam is barely higher than standard except in the middle so it got sketchy real quick
    7) happy with the stock top box it looks very light (imagine the mount where a lot more) and gives additional needed space to under seat storage which barely fits an XL open face
    8) Couldn’t he happier with this purchase been thinking of selling my KTM 1290 co-incidentally to pay off a few things and this purchase really makes me see how life cups be possible without my amazing Adv

In terms of mods regrettably nothing significant can happen till next year. Comfort wise some foot pegs would be great. The premium ones are really expensive has anyone had any luck with the CNC advertised AliExpress ones?

Best of luck with Your bike. I still enjoy mine as much as ever with 28000kms on the odo. I would advise to get crashbars asap for obvious reasons. I have the premium footpegs because I stand a lot and I felt they are stronger than most. However there are plenty out there.

Gawd, I wish Honda would bring this bike to the USA .

Congratulations on your new machine, hope you have a ball with it.

Certainly is but it happens. I swapped a CRF1000L for mine. No regrets.
