2017 Pyrenees

    Hi all and FYYFF,

    my last big tour on an GS Adv. last year, as i decided 3 weeks ago to switch back to an KTM.

    Albula Pass - Suisse -- so we decided to go slow to spain. If we go fast, we take the highway and aviod switzerland.

    next part - here we go - we come closer to the pyrenees. :-)

    We spend another 30 min in rain near Millau, watched the famous bridge and went on on small roads dirc. south to reach Perpignan.

    the name of the village is "Lunas" - even very nice.

    we passed Perpignan and followed the curvy coast road direc. Roses. It was very crowded.

    At Banyules we decided to leave the traffic

    a small road - nowadays paved - lead to Col de Banyuls. A few km later we found a Hotel in the middel of nowhere with a Spa. Time to rest a bit.

    Rest-day with Tina - means visit the Turtles at Garriguella.

    we spent some hours - talking with the staff and watching turtels running through the bushes.

    an unpaved road takes you to this place - with a nice Restaurant (behind me, not on Foto) - very good meat.

    the Hotel - realy a quiet place - totaly relaxing.

    the next day we dived in -- into the pyrenees. last look to the med. sea

    next stop after tons of curves - the area called Cerdanya (between Puigcerda and La Seu)

    the road to Castellbo - where we spent always some hours or days since more than 20 years. This time we just said "Hello" - had a small talk and went on.

    Parking at the ski resort. Then we went town to Sort.

    and on we go. We are @Sort. (you can translate it with "luck"). A lot of people won in the x-mas lottery years ago.
    At the Camping in Sort we meet some other german GS Bikers. On joined us the next day at a little easy offroad tour. So we go on with ....

    last small road. Than we took the Highway to reach Germany at Moulhouse again. We spent one more night at the black forrest and reached home the next day.
