    125 ch à 7 750 t/min et ses 125 Nm à 6 500 tr/min.

    keeps the same stats.

    The Standard version:
basically just a facelift. front fender apparently modified.

    Rallye:

HP2 look, still 19" and 17" wheels. Facelift. Smaller windscreen, radiator guard, frame protection, larger footpegs, stiffer suspensions.

    Exclusive:
Darker colors (black me guesses), higher windscreen, gold color brembos, TNxt tires from factory.

thought we should have a thread calling names and merge all the threads. YMMV

I have to admit, I really like the new look! Often the remodel is somehow less than the original, but not here! :thumb

I agree. They did a good job cleaning up the fangs. Now if they would only increase the tank size some I could see me gravitating back to the GS.

They still haven't painted the cylinder covers to match the rest of the engine. Other than that, it looks great.

I just noticed the Rallye has no pillion pegs either.

    Or centre stand.

I'm interested to see how they price the Rallye, seeing as it's a lower spec than a normal GS, bar the fancy paint job.

I'm with ya. The increased fuel capacity was the main reason I went with the GSA. That new Rallye Standard is a good looking bike!

Crazy. I'd be shocked if the US spec bikes don't have passenger pegs or centerstand.

I basically want the Rallye colours but on std GS.

I bet by the time you exchange all the regular GS bits instead of the rallye ones it'll cost more :p

Holy smokes, did you read the ad prose for the Exclusive Style version? I mean this is really bad.

“Exclusive. The style for GS enthusiasts who like to be out and about with their GS and who want to have a confident appearance when doing so. “

I’m pretty sure BMW hired the same ad group who did the Suzuki Gladius years ago.:topes

Hey guys! The tests and pictures were taken in my backyard: Jadranska magistrala with its surroundings in Croatia. Best road in this part of Europe.
I like the new features this new GS brings, but I am keeping my 2016 GSA for a few more years.

From what I've read the Rallye comes with the Pillion Pegs and Rear Luggage Rack removed for aesthetic reasons but they're included with the bike in a box. Covers are also provided to blank off the mounting points. You'll see some press pics show the Rallye with the Rack & Pegs removed and some with them fitted but none show it with a main stand so I'm betting it comes without one.

As long as the tank side covers are there they never will. They match the colors. Not, oddly, on the TB though!

And on that note, my triple black is now black, now that I've got all the bits painted/ powdercoated. :D

Exactly why I went from the GSA to the GS, smaller capacity tank, better weight and balance with a lower CG. Why the GS is the GS Trophy motorcycle.

They have full support on the Trophy, so they have no need for bigger tanks. They could use trials bikes as well, if BMW produced them. It would be much easier to carry them over the obstacles. :)

It won't either, or it would be an HP2. Personally I wouldn't want it. Besides, that kind of change is expensive. There is zero innovative about the Rallye, just paint.
