    It wasn't over.
We just got to Tellico Plains.
My midnight estimate was a tad optimistic.
    No motels :(
    Not pitching a tent now.
Looks like 15 mins away is a place.
Really need a bath and some rest.

I'll be in Amarillo tonight heading east with a van, bike and trailer, if y'all need anything holla.

Stay safe! You guys are pushing hard, hopefully the rains will give you a window of opportunity if the sun can break out fast enough.
I'm listening to monsoon rains tonight here in Northeast Oklahoma, it is going to make for some serious challenges in the muck.

Best of luck on a sure to be record run on the TAT.

This could be the best TAT report (to read anyway) in quite some time !
Again, wish we had live tracking.

This is entertaining as hell and I haven't finished reading your 2016 TAT! Witt Rd in the dark is ballsy! Great RR.

Chowing down on the free breakfast at the Etowah Red Roof Inn.
    3 hours of shuteye.
Was 5 AM by the time we got here, checked in, unloaded the bikes, cleaned up, and turned in.
Awoke this morning to a KLR revving outside our window.
Will post a few pictures in a bit.
    The bikes need some TLC.

Went into mud pit not knowing it was a dead end or a clay mine.
Dude coming out locked gate behind us.
We had to go a ways to get around.
Also had to carefully walk path as it was booby trapped with spikes in boards to deter folks from doing what we were. Probably a cool place to ride when dry.
Garret went first and got hung up on a log.
I went around him and carried enough momentum to get almost out of the ditch next to the road. Then got bit by traction control. Had neglected to disable it. Wish that would just stay off.
Gave my hatchet to Garret and grabbed the camera.

Just a few inches of snot-nosed, goose-shit mud on an otherwise hard surface. Rocks under kickstands.

Trip odometer shows 577 miles yesterday.
Plus miles from Tampa to Jeckyll Island the day before.
Will try to remember to post each morning.

First part of the day yesterday was mostly dry and dustless as it had recently rained.
    But later, it got dusty.
