I see the adventure sport model comes with heated grips standard. My factory heated grips blow goats. I wonder if they have fixed them.

Kind of a kick in the teeth for early adopters but I guess that’s the price you pay to have two extra years of fun.

Glad to see the electronic throttle and better gauge layout. They’ve clearly let room for more upgrades in the coming years. Shocking to see they’ve made a heavy bike even heavier and called it an off-road model. Wowzies.

Here's to hoping it doesn't share the shock wear issue the older two do and that there's an option for a low seat. GOD this looks good.

Interesting that some responses here criticize Honda for not following BMW and KTM, while others are criticizing them for doing just that :hmmmmm.

    It's not shocking at all.
Folks want the look, but will actually spend 90% of their time using CC.
    Pay attention.

I'm guessing cruise control will be an option. I have never needed it, but I've also never ridden a bike with it, so maybe I'm just ignorant to how good it is to have.

Now, a Honda Bike that needs CC is the V4, Crosstourer.

But it looks like CC will catch up to the AT soon thanks to the changes.

And if they fixed the fork issue, we can swap for the new ones and gain ground clearance at the same time.

Seems that the base Africa Twin keeps the same suspension.

I wonder what the price increase will be for the Sports.

Carpal tunnel will make CC a mandatory option on next new bike purchase.

There is a quoted low seat option in one of the released articles, same as the base model. Either swap the seat or buy the thinner foam accessory saddle.

It’s amazing to have. I installed a throttle lock on my Twin and love it for dumb interstate sprints. CC ups the anti by not having to adjust for hills and wind.

Anything that helps keep moral up on huge touring trips is a plus in my book. The original bike’s wire throttle always left my wrist tired and sore. The new electronic throttle probably won’t be nearly as tough to hold open, but a CC would still be nice for when it’s needed.

I'm in Tegus for the next 2 years! Maybe when I get back to the States. I'm thinking about picking up a used CB500X, doing the Rally Raid suspension kit and riding it down here this summer.

Loving the more upright seating position and the flatter saddle. Plus, the seat looks a little more plush as well (have to wait and see). This is good news for those of us with long legs. Combined, it looks like the rider will have a better view of the road ahead.
