Thanks for the link. Michael Lock is an impressive guy. I casually followed his successes at Triumph and Ducati, and he was at the helm of NA operations for each when they made impressive gains in sales and market share.

He seems to have the Midas touch, and I'm glad he is with AFT. I'm looking for good things to keep happening.

Interesting and positive chat with Michael Lock. Glad to see they don't want to penalise Indian. Nothing worse than a manufacturer putting in the work and Dollars, then having the rules changed on you! Still say Yamaha could easily get their package up the front and look out if KTM decide they want to come and play. (A good thing in my view). Only my opinion of course.

And if someone will come up with a different, more tasteful name than "hooligan". An outsider to our sport must think we are bunch of inbreeds!!!!!!!!!!

Spent some time with Bubba Knievel Sat. after the (Biketoberfest) Sons Of Speed event. With the passing of Barry Boone, Bill brought Bubba on to MC. He did a great job also. He would not let on much but there is a lot coming down the pike. He hinted that NBC may be going live along with Fans Choice. Lock is committed to amping up all parts of the sport.

And you wonder why mid stream pro golfers make millions and our best motorcycle racers sleep in trucks!

unless Harley does something drastic, I think Sammy is better off running an old XR, but I guess money talks. Good for 2 and 5 for seeking something at least competitive.

The 700 iirc is 2 cylinder of Honda Fit motor , significant engine tuning done to nc750 to make it more interesting to ride.Maybe news here Honda Fit motor kit is drop in option for 1600 Formula Ford engine ,change is to computer retard cam timing to make it very competitive with Kent(?) engine which has 45 years development.
Owing/fines? for running race only motor ?
I do,and hope 10s of thousands would as well,

I think this is owner of tag line "Valentino Rossi is a cool guy,...." If he transferred to American Flat Track ,it would bring enormous positive attention !!!!!!!!!

Crf 1000 engine could easily be fitted with shortened sump with 4 gears .Imho.

What are you talking about? There isn't an XG race. The X Games flat track race is open to all brands that compete in AFT.

There was a demo race at X-Game 2015 that was XG only. It wasn't repeated.
