Oh bring a big smile to my face today! I'm sitting here wearing my Buffaloe 500 shirt from 1994... Been back many times since then and always thought of this ride as nothing but great fun. The Stoney Lonesome M/C deserves great credit for always knocking it out of the park, with a top notch event.
Thanks for all the good rides.

Did you guys do the adv ride or the dual sport ride? I heard last year the adv ride was all pavement. I did the renfro valley adv ride last year and was super happy, but this year am not going to make it so I'll be at the buffalo 500. I'm just not sure what loops I'd want to do.

What bike are you riding? The dual sport loop consists of fun single track hooked together with back roads.

If you are riding an adventure bike you won’t be happy on the DS trails. They aren’t really hard but they are not big bike friendly.

The Buffaloe 500 is approaching. Don’t forget, $5 hog roast Saturday evening. There is a dual sport ride. And an ADV ride both days. All money raised goes to local charities.

I’ll get the ADV GPX tracks posted soon (roll chart also available). There is a roll chart for the Dual Sport ride.

I would avoid the motel 6. Tried to stay there last year opened the door to cockroaches crawling around. Killed most of them. Thought I could do it. Decided to look under the bed and found someone’s hypodermic needles and general filth dead bugs etc... Had to bail was afraid I’d bring home bugs. While getting my money back in the lobby another guest just checking in came back down and had tried to get into her room but found another guest in his undies on what was supposed to be her bed. Gave up

Got some trail work done today for the Dual Sport ride. Paint Ball Valley has got about 13 miles of this. And that’s just one property of many.

I would have killed for a tent at that point as all rooms locally were booked and it was nearing mid nite. Finally ended up in franklin

So there is a dedicated ADV ride this year? I know it’s gone back and forth through the years and I don’t see anything definitive on the flier other than the KTM logo.
