I’m not confident that you who hated the “boring” Super Bowl would hate it quite as much if your team had won it. For the sixth time in 19 years. Guess “cheating” pays off...

I was out riding motorcycles all weekend so I missed most of it. I turned it on just after New England got their touchdown. The first play I saw was the replay of the touchdown run. I watched the rest of the game so I guess I got to see the interesting part.

Edelman was a good choice for visible MVP. Fun to watch the little guy wreak havoc.

Invisible MVP, and why the Rams could never win, was the Patriots’ defensive front.

Definitely a snoozefest. I sat there waiting for the Ram's offense to wake up, it never did. They brought their defense but their offense was offensive. :twitch But credit the Patriot's defense, they shut the Ram's down. Those Bud Light Medieval themed commercials have run their course. While they were funny at one time, when you resort to downgrading the competitions product, it's time to move on. Oh yeah, the halftime show was a good match for the game, :snore Ok, whining session complete. :jump

I did get a chuckle when one of the sideline reporters (forgot his name) said he asked Belichick something and got a noncommital answer. He didn't know he could ask "Coach, is it still Sunday?" and wouldn't get a simple response??

Solid game from Pats. Did not score a lot, but they did dominate the clock. Rams were outcoached and outplayed.

Didn't mind a defensive game really. At least they were playing some.

Commercials pretty much ran from sucked to meh. I watched first 10 seconds of the halftime show, and that was too much.

I don't know that anybody "hated" it. Just having some fun.
Given the potential of both offensives everybody was expecting a shootout, not a defensive showcase.
And, yeah, I'd been way more excited if the Chiefs had been in it. Or the Lions :oscar

The Alexa commercial was the only one that was at all memorable. Agree about the Bud Light commercials. Ragging on the competition isn't very imaginative.
I skipped the half time show in its entirety.

The over/under was 58 (moved to 56 by game time)! NOBODY expected a defensive game!

I enjoyed the game and was thrilled with the action. The MVP gave this KSU grad something to be proud of. Seeing the Rams QB being hurried, hit, and flattened was very enjoyable! There were some great hits, great blocks, great catches, and hard tackling. Missed and close field goals, There were events that made me cuss my team, some drops, bad throws, and missed tackles. The referees did a good job, though they missed some pass interference calls on both sides. In their defense, you can't see through people. The refs can't see everything one hundred cameras can.

It was a great football game!

Seemed like the NFL figured out how to have the refs handle the season-long problems with pass interference calls (and non-calls): never call them! I wonder how that will transfer over to next season?

Sure do wish it would of been Brady vs Brees this last Sunday. I like both of those old men.
