Strong possibility this is coming to market. 900 triple motor.
I own this and can verify cornering traction unreal, even on loose conditions. It's my car most days.
I'd put a turbo in it!
1.5 x mt09
Can you see into the future?
Please let us know.
I seriously like this concept. Not sure I’d buy one, but it really looks fun.
Who wouldn't want twice as many fork seals?
This is way cooler than a can am spyder that tries to throw you off if you don't lean your body into every turn!
And a nice turbo fits neatly onto the fz09 motor if you desire also.
I hate to say it, but I'd ride it.
Blindfold myself first, but I'd ride it.
If I'm not mistaken, it looks like 4x fork seals.
Never mind - after a 2nd look the 'fork' legs are only on the outside of each front wheel. Which is weird.
This might be a boon for shorties who can't touch down at stops.
Or for folks who like oddities.
I guess it would have extra traction, but at what cost in weight, complexity and price?
Does not Piaggio have a vehicle like this already?
in Paris this type of vehicle rules the streets. seemingly 4 or 5 of them at every red light.
The day I started to want an MP3 I was walking in Rome, and it was raining... this guy came ripping around a roundabout over cobblestones in the rain with the front end chirping and the throttle pinned lol... I stood there mouth agape watching him and from that moment on... it’s been on my mind.
yup. my experience as well. guys in suits ripping it up, in the pouring rain. usually talking via their headsets.
Indeed. In Paris I saw many with 3 wheels and some with windshields and some type of roof too!
There's a large market of people that want to ride but not fall, and the sales of the can am prove it. Money to be made.
No center stand. Would not buy.
Also, ugly, juvenile fantasy ugly. Aggressive rabid bat ugly.
Thus, it'll probably be produced and sell.
Closest thing to compare it to is the Piaggio MP3 500.
Yet, the MWT-9:
It's not made in Italy.
Does not have a single cylinder 40 hp engine mounted to the swingarm.
Does not have a cvt transmission.
Doesn't look like a scooter.
The Piaggio is $9K. I wonder how much more the Yami will be. I bet it will be worth it...
I'd like to keep one as an alternative to my bike for the wet and/or icy days.
