The twin is in.
Copy all! I am more than capable and willing to carry some gear but I felt that since I will be the lone Ducati I will need all the advantage I can get!
Proof that the sled is not a bad burro.

2019.2 Trans Florida Rally
October 19th - 20th, 2019
A CADS Event
This is an overland adventure from Palatka to Yankee Town, Fl. This is a roll chart dual sport event, crossing Florida on as much dirt (Florida Dirt ) as possible.
We will be based out of B's Campground in Yankee Town 352-447-5888. In Palatka we will be meeting near the River and HWY 17, Southwest Corner.
Yes you will need a roll chart
There could be water to cross
We will have a Saturday Morning Rider's Meeting at 8:15 at the SW Corner are of the River and Hwy 17 in Palatka. "Just look for the bikes". Last time I was planning to have the meeting at the amphitheater on the River. However about 50 bikes has already staged on a side street before I showed up. So The bikers will tell you where to go .
Roll charts will be passed out then along with a bonus point list. These will be points not listed on the roll chart.
Dinner on Saturday Night will be at the Blackwater Grill in Yankee Town at 7:00 pm, again look for the bikes, that is how I find it.
Rider's Meeting will be at 8:30am Sunday Morning at B's Campground in Yankee Town. Roll Chart will be then handed out for return to Palatka. We will have our finish "party" at Beef O'Bradys in the Quality Inn on the River in Palatka.
Turn in your points then to see if you win your class and get a trophy. How do you get points? On the roll chart you will be asked to take a picture of a particular location. Each picture earns you points, top points in each class get a trophy.
Every rider that completes the Rally and makes it to Palatka on Sunday earns a coveted finisher's sticker. Folks ask, can I get a sticker if I only do one day, I typically respond, "do you want the front half or the back half of the sticker?"
Many ask if this is a hard Rally? Yes as less than half that start, finish .
Class A- Bikes 950 cc to 2,000 cc
Class B - Bikes 600 cc to 949 cc
Class C - Bikes 150 cc to 599 cc
I will be adding information as we move forward. This page will be constantly up dated as we move forward. Ask any question many here know the answer, and they usually have to tell me how it works.
Rally Fee - None (ps, that does not mean you do not have to pay your bar tab )

I have a reservation at B's. I plan to haul my camper trailer to B's on Friday and continue to Palatka with the tow vehicle. I'll sleep in the tow vehicle in Palatka and leave my airconditioned camper trailer in Yankeetown. I'll ride back to Palatka and either stay there in the truck or drive back to the trailer in Yankeetown. In either case, I tow the trailer back home on Monday.
In addition to the "master" bed, there are two bunks and a fold-down dining area. Which means that up to three of you could have a place to stay that is off the ground and air-conditioned. I plan to make my own breakfast on Sunday morning, you are welcome to share the kitchen. If you let me know ahead of time, I can have something in addition to my breakfast in the refrigerator.
I’m in....I ll ride from wpb. KSU friday afternoon..you are welcome ride with me to Yankeetown/Palatka.
If any bunks are avail I'd be interested. Be willing to chip in on any other supplies/snacks/drinks. Thanks
One bunk taken.
Welcome Party Friday Night- Once again we will be having a welcome party and dinner for those coming into Palatka Friday evening. Starting at 4:30pm we will be meeting up at 1933 County Rd 13S (Racey Point) along the St Johns River. This is on the east side of the river. We will be having dinner and there will be a small charge to eat.
