Unknown. To bad for me the 650F has such forward bars / forward lean. Meh , it has shimmed valves anyway......double bummer.

Too bad it doesn’t look like the Japanese 400.

I think Honda has done a terrific job with the styling on the 650R

I like it a lot, the lines remind me of the first gen Ducati Monsters (the favorite of all the bikes I have owned), except for the ugly ass radiator on the front. No way around that anymore though. The valves are shimmed, but 25,000 mile intervals means I should only have to them once a year, less often if I keep my fleet of 2 or 3 bikes. Damn Honda asks a premium MSRP though.....

The muffler is certainly better looking than the monstrosity they put on CB1000R. Just checked the Honda U.S website and it looks like we only get the red model for $8899. Overall, I like this bike.

    Good looking bike!

They added a few HP since the 2018 model, but reviews never seemed to get excited about that motor. “Sounds better than it goes”...

Pretty ballsy (but not surprising) pricing it above the MT-09, Z900 ABS, GSX-S750 ABS.

the black tank blends in w/ the black frame, swingarm, and pewter color wheels.
the silver blends in w/ the silver side covers, exhaust, and pewter wheels
the red & blue ain't bad, but....
i think honda is going to strike out if they only have red for usa.

I agree I don't understand the only one color
especially when they offer it in other colors In other countries.

I wonder if it's just sales data related. If they don't sell many of the 650 units in general, then maybe they're just cautious?

It looks like the only difference is in the tank area, so if they go the Yamaha route those are just plastic covers. Might be able to order others? Obviously costs a bit more, but an option if one really wants.

It's only the tank. If you don't like the color, carry the tank down to any body shop and have sprayed any color you like. I resprayed my Ducati Monster tank maybe half a dozed times with a hobby sized airbrush in my laundry room. Make sure your wife is at work if you try this at home.
