They did a great job on the faired version (2019 cbr650r) too.
Yeah, that's what I said when I first saw my ex-wife 20 years ago.
Does that mean we should wait awhile to see how it turns out before commiting?
This looks like modern F4i, I love it.
Usually not a fan of matte black but this looks good (Europe only)
I know right, yet the CBR500R comes to the US in the red and the black. As bad as I want one of the new CBR650R's I think I will wait a year or two. Really hoping for the red, white, and blue.
Nice comprehensive review.
Is the CB650R out yet? Any words on it?
Honda is really taking their time on these.
I think the CB650R might be the best looking Honda in a while. Stunning.
Some say the motor is smooth and some say it vibrates. Don't know what to believe.
It's probably a little bit of both. Inline 4 engines are known to be smooth but some of them (most of them?) have a buzzy spot in the rpm range. Did Honda rubber mount its engine?
Something I read said that Honda should have made it a 750 cc and pay homage to the original CB750 for its 50th anniversary. That would have been cool.
My motor does not vibrate, but at certain rpm, around 5000 rpm there is a high frequency buzz that I can feel in the seat and sometimes foot pegs. It does not usually bother me.
If it does I just change gears and it's gone.
Some people are sensitive to these things, and for them it may be bothersome.
Looks like the CBR650R is already out at some dealers. I hope the CB650R shows up soon too.
Dealer said he’s getting the CB650R beginning of May.
These bikes are kind of in a class of their own. I like the idea of a nicely finished naked 650 inline four with a slipper clutch, full LED lighting and a digital dash.
I thought I preferred analog gauges until I had a digital layout. Now I’m all about the new fangled dash.
Quick comparison between the CB and the CBR. The CB looks really tasty
Mexico is getting the silver one with a few options that are not available in the US, e.g. the HISS immobilizer.
Build quality looks stunning on those. Clean AF.
Come on man, you know better!
Little brother needs to aspire to be something though!
I love the CB1000R but it’s too much motor for me. I’ve been looking at the 300R a lot but I think the 650R would be just right.
