This is my first Adventure post. I finally got my 2017 Husqvarna 701 set up with pannier rack purchased from Jacinto (Adve. Rider, South Belgium), Garmin GPS, cot, chair, tent, sleeping airpad, sleeping bag etc. Today the wife let me out of the house for a 2 hour sprint around Bulldog Canyon trail North East of Phoenix, AZ just to play with my toys, next trip I hope to actually use them.

Eaglescan, thank you. I was supprised at how technical/Rocky Buldog canyon was. Now I know why they call it that. Do you have any other day rides near the area?

Funny you should ask. After I posted on here, I thought about places you might like.

So you can do Four peaks ,down to Roosevelt lake and back on the Apache trail to Tortilla flats and people. I wouldn't go alone to the Peaks, maybe OK on a weekend ,more people .
As it was for me, I started out with a partner, we made it over the top and to the bridge at A P trail. I let them ride away ,as I was taking a LOT of pictures.

Made up the Fish creek hill and was passing a jeep, when my bike shut down!!! How embarrassing ,as I pulled over and the jeep passed me. Wire fell off my key switch.

I stayed in Gold canyon for a month and liked to go the Queen valley area and Superior. I found Robles butte on a map and headed out.

Here is a link to the start of the dirt. I went to this area quite a few times, and found new stuff each trip.

Now I was alone, but it is a popular area, so it seems there was always someone out there. It would be a big loop to come out a Happy camp, I only did some of it.
