Fritz needed a nap, the elevation was getting to him.
That, or an inept operator! But seriously, that was some of the slickest Sh1t I've ever seen. Damn near wet Florida clay.
There was a sign on the road coming out of there that said something to the effect of "Caution, road impassible when wet!"
here's your sign...
I and my collar bone can vouch for the slickness of said mud.
New video uploaded!
That sunset, though! Great video - thank you!
Nice video Jon!
A little video tribute to Sam for being the unofficial host and welcoming all to his awesome home.
Now I need to get going on editing my footage of all the rides!
Sorry I didn't get to do much of any ride report from our (Shelley and I) part of the trip. We left home on Wed after work (4 Sept) and got back home the 21st. It was a great ride with some of my good friends!! The drive is a long one but beautiful and I always enjoy seeing how big this country really is when you go across it! We rode single track, dual track and pavement!! :) It's a pretty area to ride. The mountains are much more subdued than Ouray or Taylor Park but pretty and scenic. I'll post some about our "after the CADS" group left pics later. We had a GREAT time exploring the Rockies together.
After everyone loaded up and left for home, Shelley and I took the RV boondock camping (parking in the woods, no services!!) and it was awesome. We found 2 great places we stayed for 2 nights each that were remote with great views. It was SUPER quite at night and the fires were fantastic. It was 26 one night so we had a hard front but we enjoyed it a TON!! :) What a wonderful area of the country it is in the Rocky Mtns!!
Snowflake #500 checking in!! Dude sweet pictures! I had a blast!!
Finally got the video produced for Day 1 in CO. This was the short ride on Saturday. Only 5 more to go.
Awesome video Tom. Can’t wait to see the rest!
Really cool video...thanks for sharing. The amount of wide open space out there seems pretty crazy.
