I cannot even fathom the time it takes to find such out of the way places or that it could be made so simple for so many. Like, load these tracks into a "smart" device and follow them and your perception of life as you know it shall be altered. We saw it all. We saw all of it! Oh say can you see, the amber waves of grain. Yup!! We saw that. We were immersed in it. From the janky trailers of the lowlands to the million dollar mansions of the highlands. We experienced the entire spectrum from one end to the other all in one quick jaunt through southern Indiana. We had chicken nuggets for lunch, then saw exactly where they came from. We got twist cones at little twirl and saw 3 school buses go by converted into flat bed pumpkin haulers loaded with future jackolanters headed to your local Walmart for future consumption. We learned that once again, after all these years, one woman dominates the HNF ride, DIRT FLIRT!

Great tracks Roaddad. Perfect weekend for us. 5 stars.

So apparently the mighty wrr does have an Achilles heel after all. Gabor thought his chain fell off. But not so. His countershaft sprocket nut loosened up and sprocket backed out a bit and wound up shearing teeth off shaft! He was able to limp home by turning sprocket around but he is looking at removing engine and splitting cases to change countershaft. Roaddad had same problem with his. I don’t have a wr anymore but if I did I would swap to an aluminum sprocket from now on and keep spare one with nut where ever I went. Swapping a sprocket on side of road is gravy compared to finding ride home and full engine tear down.

I changed Amy's sprockets 20,000 miles ago. Gabor and Roaddad just needed some red loctite and a couple extra ugga duggas from the air hammer when he put it on. It's not rocket appliances....

20,000 miles on a set of sprockets and counting! jeez... maybe the secret is to never give it any gas.

    Good ride,except sprocket issue.......
Bought bike couple of years ago and rode 5k miles since on same sprocket and chain. Have not touched sprocket or nut. Looked bike over yesterday morning as always, guess it would be hard to see if the nut is loose. I will keep an eye on it from now on aluminum sprocket or not.........

Thanks Roaddad for setting up a really scenic ride. Only issue I had was missing my sit down coffee lunch. I was not thinking and missed the easy rock climb taking a dirt nap..taking out tpar. Just not focused when I needed to be. Still a great day overall.
Thanks for all the effort in putting together another great HNF ride.

Thank you Roaddad for putting together another fantastic tour of southern Indiana. Sunday’s morning ride was one of my favorite ever. And thank you to everyone else who was a part of planning or participating. I’m looking forward to next year already.

Perfect weather for the HNF this year.
Me and Jerry was at Indy's for breakfast and ate before anybody else got there.

Had a spectacular ride-------and just as it was when I motocross raced back in the 70's and 80's........
I was first to the first turn and first out of the gate---------but finished last :clap
    Rode my CB500X this year.

Is it just me or do these stickers seem similar ??????
I'm thinkin' copyright infringement and will have my lawyers on this soon.

Took lots of the usual pictures----------but on the way there I passed this mailbox.
It's an old Harley----one of those Italian 2-strokes they sold.
Brought a smile to my face.

As much as I didn't want this to happen it could have been worse. I did not get hurt, happened at the end of ride,on a quite gravel road and almost at the end of the season,on a beautiful day with friends who helped and was able to ride home. I don't blame anyone or anything for it. Shit happens. If you keep looking to blame somebody or something you will become a grouchy old f...ker as some of the guys on here.hahahahahaha
Now I am looking forward to a new "adventure" of fixing it,as this will be a first time for me to split a case.

No worries Doug. I should have waited for you to clear before going up.

Was a great weekend and jerry did a good job with tracks.
