The 9ers played on an extremely sloppy field in DC, but in the end, prevailed.
Where did the Redskins play???
At home, in Snyderville. If you're asking if the Redskins showed up to play, they sure did. It was a pretty competitive game in a deluge.
He captured lightning in a bottle twice. Both those giant teams had seriously nasty defense.
Peyton also played on a great defensive team in Denver. I don't know if he could lift his arm up above his shoulder at that part of his career, but somehow he willed the team to win the big one.
I just love the AFC East.
Though it does lead to a very boring MNF game....
The team definitely carried Peyton that year and he did just enough to get the win. Think of the deal Eli got dealt, his dad was a successful QB which is hard enough to live up to but then big brother is in that top 5 QBs of all time...he was screwed.
Eli seems like a great person and a teammate you really want on your team, his problem is the rest of the team, coaches, GM and owner have sucked for the last 5 years. I dont know if he will hang it up or try a different team but either way he should hang his head on his career.
Let's go Browns . The score should probably be 7-7 .
The 49ers are for real.
Yeah sure. Browns lost 2 fumbles and 1 int. in the first half. Score should probably be 37-7.
Yes, they are. Their schedule gets a bit more difficult later in the year. Two against the Seahawks and Cardinals. Also away games with the Ravens and Saints. Green Bay and the Rams at home. If they can beat the Cardinals and then split the remaining games they'd be somewhere around 12-4. But that's counting chickens before they hatch.
Were we even watching the same game? The Browns were horrible in the first half and terrible in the second. So many turnovers. So many penalties. Such poor adjustments. etc.
They've been bad all season. Under-performing for their talent level.
This is the Browns, you dont have to beat them because they'll beat themselves and have been this way for years. They really need to hire in a tough proven coach to clean this stuff up, kitchens is 1 and done if they want to go anywhere.
Of course look at the Bears and Broncos with all their coaching blunders.
Believe me, I know the Browns have sucked, do suck and will suck, despite all the pre-season hype and being featured on Hard Knocks; I was just responding to @Wa Ho Thuk . He must really be an optimist (or maybe delusional).
The only Fitzmagic I can think of is him getting a team to sign him thinking he is the answer at QB. Everytime I watch him play which isnt much but is he that bad or is it the teams hes on?
I get to watch him quite a bit since the fish play in the AFC East, and, yes, he is quite bad. The coaching he has had hasn't helped him much either. His career record in the NFL is a dismal 50-79-1.
I figured as much, you watch him and he's making these plays looking good and then just sucks the rest of the game thou so do the teams he's on. He is a good candidate for back up QB but after that he isnt taking the team anywhere,
