I think he has talent but not enough to put up with his crap, theres a reason the Steelers let him go. The big thing is if they suspend him they can walk away without paying a penny, he plays and you just rewarded him for pulling all that crap so now the Raiders look like wimps bowing to him.

He called Mayock a 'cracker'. We'll see on Sunday if he's worthy to keep around.

AB certainly is athletically talented. However, he is what is known technically in psychology as a "total fucking head case". And clearly he is severe enough of a head case that his athletic abilities are trumped by this. (addendum: maybe his head would be less messed up if he had started using one of those certified helmets earlier in his career :-)).

So after fooling his teammates into accepting a apology that ment nothing he goes and posts another video....sure makes Chucky look like a chump. His talent at his position isn't questionable but he's such a poison to a locker room is it worth the risk?

I think he should be allowed to wear the old leather caps if it will make him STFU.

Like all spoiled brats, the only thing that will make him STFU and change is suffering meaningful consequences for his inappropriate behavior. This has yet to happen.

You just described a lot of "professional" athletes, something poisoning more than just the NFL and ruining it for fans.

In the current cultural climate in the USA narcissism pays, increasing the incentive for those so inclined to let their egos run free. Apart from the impact on athletics where it is an annoyance, it's a dangerous and disturbing trend.

Gone! Raiders released him. I am wondering if he has some kind of brain trauma. His impulsive actions are indicative of a TBI.....or he is a narcissistic a-hole.

The Davis-owned Raiders have for many years been burning what amounts to the eternal flame of dumpster fires.

I enjoy it , too. As a cowboy fan, it's good to know there are teams out there even more mis-managed than Dallas.

Actually they are made of asbestos. The Pats have taken on quite a few other players with "baggage", and though their success on the field has been mixed (Cory Dillon vs. 85), none have had appreciable negative impact on the team as a whole or, obviously, their success. BB has very little tolerance for bullshit on his teams and though he will give difficult players a chance, he will get rid of them as soon as their BS outweighs the skills they might bring.

I want to disagree with you for the good of society but you hit the nail right on the head sadly. Athletes just magnify the issue we are facing and sadly looked at as role models. Look at the BS this idiot pulled and within a week he'll be on another team getting away with the same shit again just like how many people out there do.

It would be nice to see him made a example but we all know it womt happen.

Starts with probably the typical stereotype as a child and then from when he showed talent everyone kissing his ass and being his enablers.

Funny thing is all these stories coming out from his Pittsburgh days makes Tomlin look like a huge push over.

The Pats do not care about abstracts like "character"; they are not looking for players who are "role models". They have a megalomaniacal focus on winning. AB, if he plays, will help them win. Sure the Pats have questionable morals. How many billion+ $$$ industries are guided by good morals? As a Pats fan it does not make me proud, but I do not look to sports for role models or a moral compass, and winning sure is more fun than losing! :photog
