Don't bother if it is just to watch the Thurs. night games. These teams both suck. The game totally sucks. Both make far more mistakes than they make decent plays. The trend of really crappy Thursday night games continues.

Edit: I turned the game off. I'm left wondering how it is possible for two professional football teams to be this terrible. :fpalm

^ agreed. We've taken to calling Cam Newton, Pam Newton with his new love for Audrey Hepburn like scarfs. Watching the game last night it was like he didn't care what happened. Maybe they suck enough to draft a real QB in 2020. Tua or Jalen could do better.

Here's my wish for the NFL.
    1. Start the games over the Labor Day weekend.
    2. Expand the weeks to 18.
    3. Add an additional bye game
    4. Only the teams coming off the bye would play on Thursday night.
    5. Get rid of the AFC/NFC. Separate the leagues by North/South or East/West, A/B or whatever. Basketball figured this out, the NFL should be able to do so too.

I thought it was because I dropped a level due to them raping me...still are but now I get a little lube. I've got a jailbreaked android box so took a few minutes but found it and watched it on that.

Later this fall we are ditching fucking ATT and staying just internet thru time Warner I think.

Well, #5 would allow better regional rivalries. Why isn't SF and Oakland in the same division? They're only 4 miles away? Also, the same could be said for the Chargers / Rams, Jets and Giants.

So let's say that the Patriots, Giants, Jets, Eagles were in the same division. 8 of 16 the games would be essentially home games. What could be better for the NFL?

As a Pats fan, I beg you, please don't try to change the AFC East! :-)

So the Jets, Bills, and Dolphins are making it too easy to win your division? I should think so. That should be 8 wins a season at a minimum.

Define "too easy". Pats have finished worse than 8-8 many times you know (but the last time was in 2000). :rofl

I read something about #5 a couple of years ago. Keeping the AFL as the AFC was a big part of the contract between the two leagues when they merged by having the AFL represented as its own “conference.”

Dallas would lose all their rivals to other divisions.

The merger happened 49 years ago. The NBA/ABA merger happened in 1976.

The Jets were required to pay the Giants for infringing on their territorial rights. Raiders were supposed to pay the 49ers, and on and on. I'm not sure Al Davis ever paid the 49ers which might be a reason for the team to move to Vegas.
