Seen this bike today at ferry park around 2pm. Have a good weekend guys know you all will.
Just caught up on the whole thread and reminisced a bit on last year. My mate Dan and I were at Pooncarie with the scrappy Husqvana TE410 we managed to keep alive the Friday night with the help of a borrowed angle grinder and bits of donated DT250 carby!
Last year was amazing, but life, family, kids etc got in the way of us making it this year.
My donation going DS NSW tonight, so be sure to include a little bit extra in your total tally at the dinner tomorrow night!
Ride safe scrappers and here's hoping I'm there next year!
The bike is fine, just needs the fuel filter replaced
The rider on the other hand.....
A few back issues and back spasms just to spice things up a bit
I have a lot to do this weekend and chose to rest rather than ride
She is fine, I've been there this morning having a look
Engine transplant time. Now it goes again. 160cc of Zongshen angryness!
Team Inverell Home.
Wow what a weekend! Had a really good time catching up with some dodgy mates and meeting some new ones! For the record 5128 kms travelled, one flat tyre at Glenn Innes that Tom Laxton helped me get sorted (top bloke).
Only just remembered signing up here ages ago
Was a good weekend, still kinda annoyed the Enfield broke, though only a minor hiccup
Ears open for next year
Ditto, where to next year Pezz?
Cheers Tom R
Hillbillies all home. Thanks @Pezz_gs
Only one minor issue with a van tyre....
But we won a trophy for the Pitbull, it's been an enjoyable journey once again Pezz, building bikes is fun!
This is a top bloke
And this was a top spot
Well what an amazing and brilliant Scrapheap 10
I will post pictures when I get home, along with the highlights of our weekend.
Great ride up prepared by Warren Sakey. Think there was less than 1.5 k's of highway on the first 2 days
Huge Support from Steve at Adventure Moto and Brad Hare from Hare & Forbes helped us raise $11,750 for the Auction items.
Great venue at Camp Koinonia, Evans Head and our hosts Craig and Marie Dale were simply marvelous!!
We raised over $90,000 for Down Syndrome NSW, taking our total funds raised to $800,000 over the last 10 years.
Huge thank you to all who have attended Scrapheap Adventure Ride over the last 10 years.
And then there's @OldDog who has spent two weeks riding Aunty Jack 5,128k's over from Kalgoorlie to be with us. After a flat tyre at Glen Innes, arrived to the whole group applauding as he rode through the front gate just in time for the show and Grime. It was amazing!!!!!!
Yeah it was great to meet all the usernames here! Apologies for being basically a spectator this year, 500km round trip from Brisbane was small fries compared to the rest of you.
I'm glad Bill didn't mind how I desecrated his old Ducati
Looking forward to pictures!
