Hows that for coincidence! Thanks for the heads up :)
The sidecar has a 15" wheel off I think the 1200C so the original 17" is sitting in the shed. I'd like to keep it but as said you are welcome to borrow it. No tyre on it though.
Incidentally, the two on fleabay are $550 each, but you might score a tyre.
Thanks Phil, Ive sent a pm to old mate with the rims. I wouldn't want to leave your beast unshod, i appreciate the offer though!
Mick's a top bloke, the rims will be good.
Thanks mate. Nice to know :)
Its taken a while but finally we can say . . . . . .
Registrations are now OPEN!!!!!
Gulargambone here we come!!!
Turns out he's a bloody good bloke A2, he's going to meet me in Cowra this weekend with those rims. Aunty Jacks gonna look all sexy with spoked wheels.
I haven't seen him since I had the sidecar. Say g'day from me Bill.
Took the scrappers out today, moi, Scrapper Steve and Andrew on his CB400 to see if any bits fell off in the dirt, nothing did and it behaved well. Very fíng slippery out there after all the rain so scrappers came home dirty, as you do! A great day! 180kms
Scrapheap 2020 Parked for now
It is with sadness I have to advise that we have had to postpone Scrapheap Adventure Ride 2020. This is a decision taken in consultation with the Scrapheap Committee, Gulargambone Community, Down Syndrome Australia and our sponsors. In consideration of the Covid-19 Government guidelines and limits placed on public gatherings.
Good news is we are now planning on holding the event in 19-21 March 2021. This will coincide with World Down Syndrome Day.
We will continue to update you as we have more details.
Scrapheap 2020 ½
I will be reaching out to all our registered participants and will discuss the option of refunding of registrations fees, or if you are happy to leave the registration in place for March.
Thank you for your understanding in this difficult time.
Scrapheap Adventure Ride
Thats a bloody shame
Currently looking for a Suzuki TF185 fuel tank for Reg's rebuild??
This is one I borrowed off Craigs RV build.
Anyone know of one around??
All those old blokes up at Inverell would have one of these, surely?
Think they did a big shed sell out. . . .
You going electric with this bike?
I think you will need a bigger motor than a Ryobi grinder motor
Oh and a very looooooooooooong power cord
Decided to do a little recce of Gulargambone on the way up to Nyngan on the weekend. After becoming slightly navigationally challenged, i got things back on track and have a nice little route for March.
