I gotta get the Rally as paying $13k+ for the R and then trying to convince momma I need another $5k-$6k for suspension and more for the rider bits would be an unsolvable conversational math problem unable to win in my favor. With the Rally I can just say.. damn babe, looks like the price jumped up a bit from last year.

Sir, you are undoubtedly, the most selfish, narcissistic, wasteful, inconsiderate, all-consuming, guaranteed to go to hell, homeless, lost in eternal debt, dirtbag I have ever had the displeasure to not meet!!

(j/k), I'm just limbering up for when I tell my Wife that I'm going to put money down on the 790 Adv next week...:)

Is that all you pay? 17,5k€ for R in Finland w/ taxes --> Rally estimated at 21k€ + 30% taxes = 27k€+ :becca

First on the list for the one they are getting in
Just not sure If I should sell a 990r with low miles Farkled to the moon ( don’t need both ) Oh and add a monthly payment to the fold

Or keep the 990 and pick up a 500ish something
Time is the key for this option or lack of soooooo

That’s in US $13.5k before tax, title, tags, set up, any discounts, and anything else they can add. Don’t think you can compare global prices line for line... too many variables.

Ok, so the base price is roughly the same. What is the price there to drive it out from dealer?

I got a discounted price of $13113 for the R version - out the door for $14284.38 including tax and registration. That was agreed to in January 2019, before the demand for the bike was established. There might be a slight price increase this year, but given the strong demand, I would bet that MSRP is about what to expect, with little/no discounts.

Just got off the phone with the GM at my Dealer....No Rally!
He was told by KTM that there was only going to be 85 total brought into the US and no-one in the Midwest got an allocation for a Rally.
So, If anyone hears of one Please let me know I want one...Thanks.

Not sure how best to do this, but here is a cross-post by @alonad from the KTM 790 Adventure thread...

I’m guessing with a rally seat and 30mm more travel, the Rally is probably pushing 36”+ or so vs 34.6” on the R ... tall, but not out of the realm of others, it seems. For comparison, WR250R is 36.6” and GS Rally 35.4”.

All hearsay, but given the estimated height and the riding ability of Chris Birch, that seems like an odd comment, if he actually said that. Maybe he did - I’m skeptical, but who knows

Chris lowered the bike because his enormous nuts were up to high throwing the cg off.

790 rally has pretty much same seat height as 950 SE - should be just fine for Chris. In his videos he only spoke that he's going to stretch his pro susp to 270mm.. but obviously it could have been too much for him and he decided to take some coaching from Riemann before riding such a tall bike :lol3

My bike has the 270mm and Rally Seat....I find it slightly easier to flat foot than my old SE...

I paid US $11,800. I guess KTM cost more in the US than in Canada.
