I think this will fix the 'ol 250:
What were the symptoms? I wasn’t present for this!
Long story short... crank no start after shutting it off after a trail. Believe it to be fuel related (possible vapor lock or something of the sort). Had a SOLID 3 days of riding prior so no biggy! I’ll tear into it this week and see what I can figure out.
I didn't do a good job of getting photo's either. Here are the ones I did get.
I also have video of that 900 trail (although I am so slow, everyone else is no where to be seen in the video) and some video from Barlow Rd, that 4 of us did this morning before heading out of camp.
Check the tiny fuel filter inside the fuel Quick disconnect coupler, the coupler can pop loose also. If you see bubbles inside your tank, when you cycle the key it’s a cracked filter.
Check your battery terminals and cables for tightness, including the ground going from negative battery terminal to sub frame. A loose connection here is very common and is often overlooked. These bikes do not like loose connections.
Thanks @El Pacifico & @martinmenace ! I’ll look into both of those things. Missed ya guys out there!

Another great Barlow or Bust ride is in the books. Thanks to all the firewood getter’s, Story tellers’ NooBie’s, Boomer’s and camp scouter’s. Lets do it again next year without all the challenging times.
ps: Kid check the spark bolt.
I can see the green corrosion from here, good catch!
That will teach you for not turning up.
Real Watties spaghetti in a can
I'll being a can next time for you : )
Logan , pull the tank and then pull the fuel pump . There are 2 filters in side the the tank . ,there is a large one and a small one . See if the large one is black , if so change it . For some reason the black shit is coming out of the fuel pump and clogs the filter . I would all so buy another fuel pump to keep a spare with You ( the china man has them for $20.00 , their a "one size fits all thing " ) . There are a total of 3 filters on the bike . One other thing and don't get Me wrong I'm not calling You a jurk but did You hit the kill switch on the bars ( I've done it and didn't notice it at first ) . Anyway thats what I got to say
You smuggling restuarant size cans back mate!? :)
@unclehoot , Damn glad to see you post! I'll check those out too. Checked the kill switch trail side & doesn't seem to be the problem. I even tried cussing the bike out & kicking it but that didn't help either! Hope you're doing ok!
