It's easy to overlook some of the behind the scenes magic that goes into an event like the BBA.

Sorry to say but we are forced to cancel the 2020 BBA and skills clinic

On April 10th, governor Ned Lamont extended the mandatory shutdown to May 290th

Sorry to hear that Dave, I know you and others have put a lot of work into this.

we’ll get there eventually and the riding and events will be that much sweeter after this ordeal is over with

That's a shame. So many other events have had to do the same. I know how much work and planning goes into putting on this event, much of it way before now. Thanks for all you've done, hopefully we can get back to normal by June. The comradery that group rides provide is half the fun.

I am also disappointed but I am glad this is on my radar now and appreciative of the massive effort to make it happen. Hopefully for next year all around!

Was really hoping we would be able to ride. Will this be rescheduled or cancelled until next year?

    Refunds have been processed

We're looking into doing at least a one day BBA the same weekend we run the Triple B, September 20th. If we can do a two day we will but at this point we don't know the availability of the property.

Checkout the GSGiants Rock Lobster in early August. You may remember Rob, who so kindly made coffee every morning, is organizing the event. He assures me it's not exclusive to BMW's and is hoping there's a good showing of orange. Side bets are already being placed on what brand takes the games...

Would anyone be willing to send me any gpx file routes for the Berkshires? I don’t know any of the andandoned dirt road names. But, I’d love to go on a solo ride and just check them out.

I would love to ride a hero section line, but, I’ll settle for any direction anyone can point me in.

    Thanks,
    Scott from Central Mass.

North, then west, than north by west north, than east...

PM me, I can set you up with some sections that we did not pre-ride and others that we're looking into adding. Fingers crossed we may be able to do the event in September...

You could re-scedule the event to late September early October. The weather is usually better too.

    Off topic question.
About a week ago I rode through
Western Massachusetts and the black flies were out in swarms.
My question is. When is a "black fly season " in Massachusetts??

We used to always say "mother's day till father's day" and that's usually pretty accurate
I used to spend a lot of time at Otis Reservoir.
