lw. 10 was just a suggestion and i care about the safety of everyone.

as an organizer, i am not in charge of any ride other than the one i will lead.

but when it comes to camping, 10 riders in a tent or room is forbidden. lol.

It is usually a two track jeep rode up the side of a mountain. Have you ridden those before?
Yes, it is obvious that people tend to stay in the track that is against the side of the mountain but if you focus on picking your line and keeping up a bit of momentum so every little stone doesn't knock you offline you will be fine.

The reason I said usually, I have seen the road dropped off into the canyon requiring jeeps and bikes to ride up and around the washout. Doesn't happen often and the NPS must grade it flat again because I've never seen that 2 years in a row. On your 350 you will be fine.

As posted I've seen more people hurt on the flat road at the bottom towards Saline Valley Road. The 1 foot wide, 1 foot deep water gullys seem invisible and if you drop your front wheel in them you will go down. Always be ready for these on high speed roads in the desert.

Joel only said 10 in a tent or room is forbidden. Any less or any more than that is good to go.

if you don’t look down you won’t notice the death fall... Seriously I knew where it was, but I never noticed it because I stayed on the uphill side.

Last year Lippincott was relatively easier from what I’ve heard of past years. It was possible to ride the uphill line any time there was a drop.

Just registered and paid for my friend and I - we'll both be tent camping - one ride in and one small truck+tent camping.

    thanks Robbie.

inmates. please post up after you paid. it's good to see who are coming and easier for us to remember you.

also makes it convenient for me to add you to the list and assign a camp spot.

I've been trying to catch up on this fast moving thread ... Pynd

Just added this to ride list on page 1, but will also put it on the board at camp :deal

I get the impression there may be several groups doing a very similar loop throughout the weekend. Would like to keep my group to the 700cc and under crowd :baby

Could also use a sweep who wouldn't mind swapping leader duty from time to time. I tend to take lots o pics, pausing while everyone rolls by, then working back to the front :ricky

I'm in for sweep duties on a WR450F unless @HBSURFDAD wants to do the honors. Me being scrawny and all...

Under 700? Damn it, missed it by “that” much!!!!!!! I am planning to support if you will have me. From the sound of it this will be 3 or 4 ride groups.

I’ve been checking in fairly regular and don’t remember seeing any swag yet. Sounds like you have ride support covered but I’ll be around if needed.
