I was worried id have to turn my on board generator on.
With I could be there this weekend. Hope everyone has an amazing 2 days. Can’t wait to see some pictures.
Kind of got separated from our fearless leader. We were lost for a while. We did find some interesting places
bummed that i am missing the ride this weekend. this will be first hnf that i have missed. i believe there are now only 2 people left that have done them all. i have the tracks though.. so will do it when i can get to it. so.... save a sticker for me jerry.
Did anybody try the water crossing at the road closed sign on the Sunday route?
Great ride RoadDad! I never ran across you, so save me a sticker and I’ll grab it at the LN ride.
DQ did the deep water crossing. It was nuts
Jerry great ride. Thanks
I bailed when I woke up at 715am and it was raining. I don’t live far so will be running the Sunday tracks in the next week or two when I don’t have to deal with wet leaves on wet pavement. If I traveled further I would have likely given it a go. Sorry we didn’t bump into each other again, seems like GORILLAHANDS and I were the only ones in the front loop.
200 miles on Saturday & 140 miles on Sunday - great routes & awesome people.
Old179 may have a story to share about finding a human skeleton near the Maukport Bridge?
Old179 might have another story to share about a Michigan rider's misfortune and how he assisted in the fix. Advriders are the best and look out for one another. Not only that, but the owner of a house across the road offered all of us bottles of cold water.
It was a great set of tracks, thank you Jerry!
My daughter may not want to ride pillion yet,but I had a passenger for a while saturday morning!
HNF #9 for me
Thank God for the safe ride and weather, thank Jerry for the tracks, thank my buddies for riding with me, thank my wife for the pie! what a great ride weekend!
Really appreciate the effort Road Dad Jerry! Ready for next year!

Only the KTM's made it across this one:
I think Seat Concepts must secretly make these or perhaps it is the other way round.
No shits given for fashion,
I was wondering if anyone attempted the last creek crossing on route #4? I was tempted but I chickened out at the last second.
Here is a clip of DQ crossing the deep creek on HNF section 4.
Great Tracks! Enjoyed the ride. Thanks for this!
Honest---I didn't know about the beaver dam keeping the water deep at that crossing. I thought it would be down to more reasonable levels by ride day. Kudos to DQ for the misplaced balls to attempt and conquer that crossing. And about that dead end road just after the I64 crossing---that was caused by Mapsource when I filtered my track to get it under 500 points. Seems Mapsource thought it knew a better route between two points and chose that one. I understand the hunters were not amused by 50 motorcycles spooking their deer hunt. They should know that I am 100% in favor of dead deer
Had spoke with a local who was at that last water crossing of the track. He said he has not used that deep crossing in 4-5 years and it was above his truck tires when he went thru. Sounds like that water elevation is normal??
Big thanks to @RoadDad! Enjoyed the 2020 HNF weekend with the excellent tracks, campground, weather, and the good fellowship!
Big thanks also for @BackRoadNomad and his son for stopping and loaning us their side cutters and large Vise grips for that broken clutch cable. Rerouted the cable. Cut back the cable sleeve above the adjuster to allow more cable. Ran cable back thru the handle and vice grip the cable. Work well enough that Darrel rode on to a Corydon auto parts store and grabbed some cable ends that allow him to ride all of Sundays tracks!
A few of us went over into KY and rode Bluff Road that is under the Ohio River bridge. There was some "extra drama", but can not say any more for now!
And lastly, where are we camping for HNF2021 and have the tracks been post yet!
Common sense ain't so common... But, I did make it across that deep creek crossing (CR IN 017 on Buck Creek Valley Road). It was deep enough to come in over the top of my Crossfires with feet on the pegs the entire way. Bonus: my boots were even dry enough for the ride home by the time I got camp broke down. Livin' right I suppose.
Thanks to @RoadDad for those amazing tracks!
