J, You do realize we need some AdvRider masks. Maybe your contacts with the powers that be and a fund raiser....?

I'm likin' it. Who else has a Mask idea?
I know there are some artists out there who can post up some concepts.

I think that is a Drew Doughty of the World Champion LAKings hockey team mask. Pretty cool!

Like this mask wearer..........earlier this week on Oxford Street, London. Like walking down 5th Avenue in New York.

I tried the photo link on the Daily Mail article I borrowed the pic from but could not get it to work: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...Oxford-street-wearing-G-string-FACE-MASK.html

I think that just a simple "Adventure Rider - Ride the World" written logo'ed mask would be good. Start using pictures and graphic logo's and it gets confusing.

My favorite thing about this event is the single, giant group campfire. Seems a bad idea given everything - I gotta agree, I can't imagine it looking good barring some unrealistically significant change in how things are going...

Maybe this event should be rescheduled for the weekend after the Nov election. I am willing to bet that this Covid-19 thing for some amazing reason will be a done deal the day after the election. :-)

Yeah, and I'm going to win the lottery. Sadly it has nothing to do with a certain day in November; I stay in skype contact with my old mates in euro-land and my daughter also goes to uni in the UK so I get the picture firsthand from over there. German, Spanish and Italian cases are on the rise and the UK prime minister, Boris, has slowed down the re-opening.....and that was after he said it would be a good Christmas. This ain't gone until there is a vaccine, and even then there are some who are mooting that the vaccine will need to be an annual event, like flu vaccines, because of all those who don't do vaccines allowing the virus to continue, mutate and return.

A reasonable level of vaccination and control would be a start to allow public events to kick off again.

I think you missed the humor point.....

I absolutely believe though, that this rally can be held safely IF we disallow BMW and Moto Guzzi, and Zongshen bikes.

Well, our glorious leader, Uncle Steve, gave an update today. There is no clear end in sight. He only announced more metric gathering, creating an endless analysis paralysis. At the present rate, our only way out of this state of emergency is if we vote him out of office 2 years from now. The new plan treats each county in Nevada differently, depending on metrics. As a result, the rally status is fluid, and will depend on the auspices of the Board of County Commissioners. There is no "City" of Pahrump. Our town is unincorporated, and functions under the direction of the Board of County Commissioners of Nye County.

I think Joel should buy 500 acres in Pahrump and establish a permanent ADV park that we can meet at for totally informal gatherings of like-minded individuals.
