My ‘corona time’ project. Plasti-dipped the wind deflectors black. Could not see paying $80?!? for new ones.

All the rear calipers on GS/A's are Brembo's. Only the front have been replaced with Hayes.

Agreed, have to wonder why we haven't seen them yet. I'm surprised that BMW rolled the Hayes calipers out with Brembo rears.

    True.. it's a goofy call.
Someone must have thought "lets swap the front but not the rear, that way.. we can still say it has Brembo brakes" and hopefully the owners would only be half as mad about it. Who knows; if anything, should have switched the rear first... they have a better chance being a "Hayes" mono-block instead of these lame split ones..

No pics... it was supposed to arrive there last Wed.

It's a 2020 R1250GSA HP, brushed aluminum tank, gold wheels, off-road tires, Ralleye low seat (I have a set of Sargent seats already), and the premium package. Oh and with the black aluminum BMW panniers.

Ughhh I'm dreading that! I saw someone a while ago post that his new bike came with front Brembo's... was hoping they were switching back. Not sure if that was just a joke post or what though.

I got off the phone with the dealer,
he said they will order me a new set of the Hayes but no Idea when they will be in.
I told him i wanted to put on Brembo calipers like the earlier GS has he said all they can do is install new Hayes.

    SO
I found a set of calipers for a Ducati Panigale from Canada for 249.00 with fresh pads they are silver , and look to be low miles MFG in 2016.

    My Hayes calipers are black,
the number on the new calipers is the same as the 2017 BMW GS calipers 20 B 691/20 B 692
The only difference is that the mounting area will need to be opened up to fit on the fork mounting collar.
And i want to install new bleeders as well as the original lines.

It looks like, from the other thread, that S1KRR or similar Brembo calipers may be even better option despite having to open up the holes to fit - good set of drill bits with the collar can take care of that issue in no time, even in home garage... :thumb
