I don't know what an "amount rack" is, but the bike will come with rear footpegs, either GSA pegs or GS pegs. The GSA pegs will not allow Vario luggage to be attached securely, and the GS pegs have the vario mount built in. The only exception is the 2017.5 Rallye which can with neither a rear seat or pegs.

Typo due to auto correct. Adventure racks. There are vario and non vario pegs. GSA vs GS is just fallout from that. When I was in Germany earlier this year, they had quite a few GSA on the floor with the non vario pegs and no rear rack. Rear racks are part of a package or accessory - but there’s no need to swap peg holders on a GSA when adding racks later.

Anyone know if you can order & install just the flip down part of the GSA brake lever? Whether OEM or aftermarket?

In theory you can buy that as a spare part from BMW but you'll need rest of the lever to mount it to:

Others, Touratech etc, do have their own versions of entire foot lever but not just the flip-up/down piece... Worth doublechecking though... :deal

Curious on your thoughts comparing the two. I've got a 2016 SA-T that I've been considering trading for a 1250 GS (possibly A) and would like to hear first hand from someone who has experienced both bikes.

I hear ya... Is there something in your signature garage that can be offered in lieu of pesos that they'd be interested in?

i have found Pandoras to be a retail only dealer. I have tried to trade with them 3 times in 5 years but always went to another dealer.

Nice shop & people there though...
