This bike rips! Spent last week in Chihuahua and Sonora riding the piss out of it. Enduro and Dynamic PRO do not disappoint. After 2k the rear Karoo is toast.

That's great shot and good for you to have a blast on your Shifty off roading... :clap

However, that much dirt on the back of the bike without possum scrapper or rear fender extension would drive me ballistic and I'm not all for squeaky clean GS/As - ymmv... :deal

Did you remove the tank "GS" stickers? If so how?

I created a video of my GSA to provide a closer look at the bike and to share some info that took me a while to learn being new to adventure motorcycles. I recorded it after my Mojave ride so it's a little dirty, it seems like that's how you guys like them anyways...

Some of the info is well-known, however I think it may be useful to newcomers like me.

It sits there at the dealer, looking out of the window. Tuesday she'll be ready for me.... Thursday the 600 mile service and then on Friday we ride to the Vosges mountains for the weekend!

R1250GSA Ice Gray inbound from port.

Ordered black GSA seats at cost plus 10% for the bike, about $700. Not having red vinyl seats—priceless. Will eBay or Flea Market the red seats. Also ordered black panniers and a Nav VI.

    Congrats!! :clap

As for red seats, not to spoil your joy, but there is vinyl color in a spray can that you could've used and painted red surfaces black (or other available color as you liked)... Still thinking about having custom seats made so your "used" seats may be of interest to me once out on a flea market! :D

Mine came black. But I'm going to bite the bullet and go full custom next year and have a seat made to fit my ass.

I had red seats on my '10 GSA 30 Anni and didn't particularly mind them until tips of my boots made marks on red portion of the seat which were beyotch to keep clean afterwards...

If I can help it, I'd avoid bright color painted seats although nothing a can of vinyl paint won't fix in no time... :D

Moto - To my eye it looks like the handlebar is rotated too far upward, unless it's just the switchgear position. Or mine is too far in the other direction.

It may be just the angle of the photo... They look exactly like mine, pointing slightly downwards (as seen by handguards)...

Beautiful. Question: since it seems you prefer the "black" look (i.e. black bags, black seat, and black wheels), why didn't you also opt for the "Black Aluminum Side Case Carriers"? Was it not allowed/available? Also, what made you pick this color over the exclusive?
