Oh thats a grat idea! Lemmesee

Ok so i was originally planning to ride this
    20200308_155905.jpg
250 4 cylinder Hornet with more than enough grunt to haul my fat arse. But then it kinda got swapped on a contra deal. As i had to pick up the mighty CBX
    20200806_142705.jpg

which was in Melbourne i decided id wander down and ride it back, taking the opportunity to drop in on @GordyOZ at Holbrook, home of great Lamb cutlets and this grounded submarine
    20191001_153939.jpg
Then off to Majors creek via some twisty backroads. I think turning up on the CBX and GT750 would have been most cool :) ......but then this happened

I was guuna bring the tried and tested DT230 scrapper/tiddler. Even put a new rack on it so I could carry stuff! Japan was the only place in the world I could find that sells a rack for DT230

    Gunna. Gunna. Gunna.
I was gunna ride the TTR.
Then there was a date clash.
I figured I should do the Club thing.
I wasn't gunna come to this.
Now, 'cause of 'rona, don't know if I should do the Club thing either.
    Gunna have to decide.

So, I wasn't gunna ride the TTR.
    IMGA0128.JPG

I wasn't gunna go via Wee Jasper into Canberra.
    P5010031 (3).JPG
    Murrumbidgee river 4.jpg

Nor was I gunna head up through Tinderry Range

    PC230037.JPG

I wasn't gunna sit around telling lies and solving the world's problems.
Nor was I gunna forget what those solutions were by the next morning.

    IMGA0153.JPG

I wasn't gunna get the opportunity to take photos of art installation. No matter in who's eyes they may be art.
    IMGA0133 (2).JPG

I wasn't gunna come home via Ravine
    021.JPG

And I'm not gunna pull it to pieces, again, as a result.

    20200502_140917.jpg

And because I wasn't gunna come in the first place,
I shouldna be eligible for a trophy.

I just didn't want to feel totally left out.:y0!

You certainly weren't going home via Ravine, that road is closed to the riff raff now.

I was gunna keep the OLDdog company on the freshly fettled medium bomber, then shit happened and all I have left is a little twitch in the loins thinking of winding roads, great company and the feel goods attached to chucking a bit of hard earned at some of our out of the way communities upload_2018-8-19_15-55-1.png

Will it ever be open again?
Will it be the nice winding, gravel road that it was?

I've seen a photo of a huge, cleared and levelled area down there. No idea where they've done that, of course. Maybe on the flat adjacent to the creek?
