    That would be awesome!
A 65-70hp 500x is the sweetspot it just needs the triple engine personality

A bike with a 500cc twin or even 600cc but more importantly weighs 450 pounds with 6 gallons of gas would be totally cool. It could probably done with liberal use of carbon fiber and other exotic metals. Enter the $15,000 ADV bike with only a 550cc engine.

It looks to me like the "Tank" is not conventional and that is a plastic fairing on top of the frame. Hopefully they followed BMW to address the top heavy feel of the bike and move the actual fuel tank below the seat.

I would hope the new Tiger had the same or more travel than the Scrambler 1200XE

Hopefully we will know all about it in two weeks when EICMA starts.

We may actually know something before EICMA -- the Triumph dealer meeting takes place the weekend before, from what I've heard, and one of the guys at my local dealership mentioned the new Tiger would be announced there. I'm sure that's intended for dealer eyes only and the public announcement will be at EICMA, but the info always leaks...

I'm really interested in what bumping to 900 means for the Tiger line, as it leaves a really sweet gap in the displacement ladder for a 600 or 650 "cub"...

Rumor has it that Triumph's partnership with Bajaj is finally going to start bearing fruit, so you may actually get your wish for a smaller Tiger...

I'll keep my '18 1200 Tiger. Not much for a chain drive any more. The passenger foot pegs are already bolt on. I'm all for a bright big light. I can get close to 200 (+/- 20 miles) on the tank so...... but to each his own.

That was my first thought also, but it's hard to make that decision without any information , isn't it ?

They announced a number of other bikes at EICMA. I'm guessing they didn't want to divert attention from those announcements by also announcing an updated Tiger at the same time. There's another show coming up in a few weeks; presumably they'll announce the Tiger there.

Still love my Roadie for all around but a smaller Tiger would have my interest. Still considering another WR250R, DR650 pr Himalayan or off road adventures.

Got the teaser email from Triumph 1 hour ago. December 3 will be the reveal. Sounds exciting!
