Interesting that they're getting rid of the XR/XC terminology and going with Rally and GT instead. I wonder if they'll carry that across to the Scrambler 1200.

You and me both! Maybe my silver-frame Tiger will attain collectible status. :D

Silver and venom yellow here, or as my offspring say "the pavement pizza" bike. The heresy.

Pretty sure they will release this at the Motorcycle Live show in the UK on 16th Nov.

Ah. Didn’t have the sound on in the video. I’m sure they would feature it at the UK biggest show (not far from the factory) if going for a December launch.

I have to say the teasers have me pretty interested, big fan of triumph's current trajectory. This could be a real winner ! at least I hope they wouldn't come to market this late in the segment without an awesome model.

Finally. The naming was quiet confusing, imho. I expect they will look like on the pics being in the net since August.

Would love it if it has a light weight fuel tank and redesigned airbox and were somehow compatible with prior generation bikes to get the weight lower. Doubtful, but possible.

I would like to see the GT version be more street performance oriented, like the 900 Tracer GT. 17" front wheel, etc... Differentiate between the two models more. Especially since we don't get the Tiger 1050 anymore.

I'm surprised Triumph has been successful keeping the details, and actual photos, under wraps this long. Hoping some might show up before December.

I thought Triumph was a small, niche company.

Well there you go. Your talking about riding across a fairly densely populated area less than a thousand miles across. We have huge, sparsely populated areas and need a different type of bike.

Yeah, too heavy, too expensive, not enough fuel, too much/less electronics... Three more days.
