Supposedly Justin Cooper has been sick since last weekend. Kind of explains his last 2 races.

Everyone has issues. Racing is and has always been about what have you Done for me lately. Hard Core Sport but thats the way it is. Unless you have an Impressive Track record you could be One and Done in this sport. The Politics in SX/MX are Incredible. So much that the little guy is often left out.....

Not so sure its a win for HRC....still cant pull past the blu cru upa decent incline - i.e. Spring Ck.
If so Donut Kid may have been like 40points clear.
Note that recently (Indiana) HRC appear to have added external oil pipes (rhs) for an external Oil cooler (?) on #18..... (#41?)
This May have appeared earlier in the season but not picked up by my eyes here in OZ.

Heck the kids getting his fair share of attention, even Sir Paul McCartney has penned a song after him!
And simple titled - Jet !

    Not that difficult to do.

As far as being 40 points ahead, ya might want to take a look at his starts the first half the year. I wouldn't blame that on HRC and I doubt Donut Boy would either.

If Jet had simply not forgotten how to get starts? He would have most likely had a big lead on points most of the way thru the series. His bad starts led to all kinds of painful issues. Cooper has set fast time, and gotten so many holeshots.

That helps a lot,but evidently not enough.

Is this your bike? I see extra oil capacity? but there's a mini filter sticking up.
    What exactly is all this?

The kit to add oil capacity to the RFS KTM bikes has been used pretty often,it can lead to issues at times.

Yeah, it's mine. The extra oil capacity is sealed in the additional oil cooler reservoir fabricated to the bottom of the left rad. It is tapped into the the oil galleys on the left side case cover with AN fittings and hoses and circulated by the oem oil pump. The mini filter is the vent for the crankcase breather catch can.

Damn. The cooler it can run the more power it can make.

In a crude way my DR65O really benefits from this idea. The big ass oil cooler they come stock with,I think, really helps the thing last and not over heat.
50,000 hard miles and it runs the same as ever. Has never obviously got hot no matter the day.
It also has jets like a GSXR that squirt oil at underside of top of piston and else where that oil flow does good.

The whole kit is the brainchild of Chris Parker, formerly of CPR Fab, now Rottweiler Performance. This kit was developed for the CRF450X's competing in the Baja 500 and 1000. Chris also did a fan mount on the right side rad and tig welded all the rad seams to "bulletproof" them and it has a Splitstream oversize water pump impeller kit.

This is going to be an interesting track to watch the racers handle Saturday, as it's a little different from the last Fox Raceway race, may need lot's of watering, and that start line looks weird ?

The interview with Dylan’s mechanic shows how deserving he is of the championship

Is there a reason why hangtown and the Sacramento mile are always on the same day? This seems like a stupid move the cuts down on attendance for both.
