Sorry I'm not going to make it. I'll be at Wailin Wayne in southeast Ohio.

I'm still hoping to make it depending on too many things to think about.

As a new guy who hasn't been yet, and I sit here... writing a school paper on the absorption of nitrogen based fertilizers by riverside and riverbank forest and fauna, I pray its everything I think it is... a depraved long weekend of dualsport riding, living in a tent, not bathing, drinking, and eating meat on a stick you cooked in the bonfire. If only one of those can be checked off I would show up every year.

Pretty much sums it up. They do have showers though. There's a beautiful lake too, if thats more your speed.

Also, someone usually makes a BIG pot if coffee at one if the lean-tos. So it's worth strolling down with a cup and mingling with the folks down there. I always bring my own coffee camping, but there's something special about that morning stroll ritual down to the lean-to that I look forward to.

Seriously considering it. Combined with a ride north to the Soo and across to a crossing near Ottawa it REALLY sounds fun. :clap

Me too, but I do have an alternate route. Toledo and Cleveland aren't THAT bad, but I'd prefer Canadian wilderness.

Count me in, barring some extreme event.
