Look at Max GOOOOO!
That was down to the wire. Perez did well, too.
That was exciting, but I was pulling for Checo there at the end.
COTA and Austin have had since 2012 to figure things out. What you see is as good as it will ever be.
We've been to every MotoGP race there, every year is like it's all new to them, no institutional memory.
Like you, a bit of ineptitude on the part of the organizers never interfered with our good time!
Texas Grid Spoilers!
2021 US Formula 1 Grand Prix Grid:
Can't find quali on TV anywhere here. College football is pushing aside everything else. Franky, though, quali is pretty dull to me. I'd rather wait for the five-minute recap video on the F1 YT channel and spare myself 55 minutes of Croft hyperventilating.
ABC is carrying the race tomorrow on my cable provider, then ESPN is re-running it a couple of hours later. I'm recording both on the off chance the ABC show hauls Diffey's useless ass out of the announcer pool and the rerun is just the Sky guys. If I get Diffey'ed both times I'll jut wait for the YT race recap on Monday morning.
It sounds like Checo has gone off on his own setup where as before he closely followed Max while getting use to the RBR. Whether it’s the track or the setup, he’s been so strong this weekend.
No it looks like you are going to get Crofty and Danica.
Crap. I wish there were a way to select the announcing team you get, like subtitles on a DVD in another language. You can choose Expert, Devoted Fan, Casual Viewer, or Kiddie levels, with explanations and commentary appropriate to each group. The Expert level team is composed only of former F1 drivers, while Kiddie level has Steve Matchett telling you what a tire is six or seven times and saying "Absolutely!" over and over until your fucking ears bleed.
...now where's that mute button?
Q was on ESPN News.
Pit lane channel on F1TV has an alternate broadcast team.
I get that only if I sign up for my provider's Deluxe Platinum package with 1,004 channels, 984 of which I'll never watch.
I have YouTube TV. Only 50 or so channels I don't watch.
Perez has been on a tear lately.
Ferrari seem to be getting the new plant dialed in. Hoping to see what Leclerc is supposed to be all about.
Think Daniel enjoyed that.
Mine, too. I decided to use my YouTubeTV free trial to watch it.
You need to look deeper into your listings. Besides ESPN and ESPN2 there’s 2 other ESPN channels that aren’t basic cable. Quali was in ESPN News.
It’s not included in my package so just got the free YouTube trial going.
When IMSA is on MSNBC or NBC, I listen to the IMSA radio that’s live-streaming. Much better, especially when Jimmy Johnson is driving a Cadillac. Diffey and whoever never shut up about him.
How awesome was that?! Daniel was living his best life I love how much he embraces American culture when the F1 circus comes over here.
Do it for Dale!!
I get two ESPNs. The rest come only with an upgrade and aren't worth the extra $30/month it would cost me to get them. (Anyway, almost all they show is curling and something called cornhole, which really, who named that?) I'm sort of cooling on F1 anyway. Too few surprises, too much politics and dick measuring. I can see a time soon when I'll stop recording the races and watch the Monday morning F1 channel YT recaps instead.
Is F1 tv included in The YouTube sub for the whole season or just this race?
Super stoked for Checo, not only is he driving very well but the crowd at COTA love him, and Danny. Unlikely for either to win (well maybe not crazy for Checo); but if either of them managed to win, COTA would explode. The fans are absolutely wonderful too; once everyone finally showed up yesterday we got the lay of the land as far as the people surrounding us, couldn’t be happier, people we’ve never met in our lives and everyone is cheering together, pointing out to each other when someone’s favorite drive has done well in case they missed it, and just generally enjoying a great time together!
Also this guy:
Performed an unprompted shoey on the track camera; Danny definitely approved, he posted it on his socials calling the guy “Legend”!
