I didn’t realize who it was until I got back to the hotel and watched quali, she seemed out of place. Martin seemed happy about being able to do a grid walk again today, so at least that’s a positive!

THAT was a great race :clap GO MAX GO!

Checo said in the post-race interview that he ran out of water on Lap 1. Finishing 42 seconds back, but still on the podium doesn't seem so bad, all things considered.

Speaking of Perez, look how proud his dad was after the race!

Yep, great finish. I was on the edge of my seat!

Loved some of the interviews with celebs that Martin tried speaking with! Megan Thee Stallion? Lol.

I assume the whole season. But outside of the free trial it is more expensive than cable. ($60/month)

In my checking yesterday, I think the cheapest way to access F1 is Apple TV. ($19/mo)

I don’t know how much the F1 app is now, I haven’t subscribed since F1 went to ABC/ESPN.

Lewis playing it up to the fans in Turn 18. Still pouting about how crazy the crowd cheered when Max won the pole I guess.

Was a great weekend, I had a great crew at 12A .. and then we did THIS!

Normally everyday, the Safety car goes out before the first session for a "track inspection". All marshals and medical staff line up single file near their stations so the race director can see that everything is ready to go.

On Saturday, they told us the Sunday inspection lap, we could do something funny/creative, a break from the formal procedures I am used to following. I suggested to my team, that we do a pit stop on the safety car. We started rehearsing/practicing on what we could/would do. On Sunday we lined up, and we did our mock pit stop, and it was GOLDEN! You could hear the crowd roaring, even as far as away as the grandstands in Turn 12, when fans realized what we were doing. Even though Bernd parked a few feet over from where we wanted him, all of us got to our positions, and it turned out perfect. Heard after the fact the Race Director and everyone in Race Control loved it.

Haha, I was just up at T12 (my view below), that was a great idea and I can tell you the fans loved it! Were you a part of the group trying to lead us into starting the wave? We almost had it going before you had to go back to work!
