    We each pick the challenge we want to face. Both of you have proven to yourselves that you can complete an IBR. You both deserve applause for doing so.

    Before completing my first SS1K, I was told to go out and get a real bike. I did the SS1K on the bike I had. After being certified, I searched the "Big List" and found that I had the first ride completed on a CB550F. Frankly that surprised me, since the bike was 42 years old at the time. I share this to say as riders we can disagree about machines. At the end of the day we just smile knowing we have completed the ride. :-)

    That's my plan. Keeping the HD 'mostly' set up as a back up, but my goal is to have the GSA ready.

    Looking forward to seeing the GS. I'll be the one whose waking funny from a sore butt, thirsty, almost out of fuel and is adjusting his chain in the parking lot.
